Simpleton Losing Her Shiz Over Dog!

| Filed under: Jessica SimpsonNick LacheyWoof WoofTony Romo

Since losing her beloved dog Daisy last week, friends are concerned about Jessica Simpson.

"Daisy was her baby," a source claims. "It's going to put her into a tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever."

She was inseparable with Daisy, whom she received as a present from then-husband Nick Lachey in 2004.

"She won't leave her parents' house," claims another. "Whenever things went wrong for Jessica, she reached for Daisy. She was her security blanket. When people let her down, she always had Daisy."

Simpson finally left when best bud Ken Paves picked her up for dinner, but it didn't do much!

"Jessica seemed okay, but wasn't smiling much," said an onlooker. "The wine made her relax a bit, but it was still obvious that she was having a devastating week."

And, rumor has it, she was bat-shit crazy with that dog!

Simpleton fed her Daisy steak instead of dog food and referred to herself as "Daisy's Mommy." When she left the house, she left the air conditioner on for the dog, refused visitors to not wake Daisy (in the event that she was sick) and threw her elaborate birthday parties.

It gets worse!

When Jessica was away for the night, she called home and had "someone put Daisy on the phone so she could say goodnight."

Really?!

"Daisy ran the household," a friend said. "If Daisy didn’t like you, you were gone. Sometimes if her regular hair and makeup people weren’t available and Jessica had a sit-in, if Daisy didn’t like them, they wouldn’t be back. Daisy ran the roost."

Wowsa!

"Jessica has a very small inner circle. But she always had Daisy. Daisy gave her unconditional love," divulged a friend. "Daisy never betrayed her. Daisy was always there for her. This is serious. Jessica’s heart is broken."

When she was having relationship problems, Jess "would cry herself to sleep at night, using Daisy as a pillow."

But this behavior is not out of character!

"Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy," the friend continued. "She is so sweet, but sometimes because of that she's hard to be around. It's not always easy. She hates to be alone. That's what happened with Tony [Romo]. Jessica smothers people. She doesn't really have any hobbies. Daisy was exactly what Jessica needed."

This is just sad!

Be strong, bb!

    poor dog :(

  2. 2

I have a 5 year old dog too, I CANNOT imagine, not only that the dog likely didnt make it but having to witness that and not being able to let go of hope. I really feel for her.

  3. 3

Hey flamer, check it out, someone named this entree after you: thechive.com/2009/09/daily-morning-randomness-9-21-09-25-photos/crotch-kick-11/

  4. 4

    Get a life girlfriend!

  5. 5

If you bought a real Dog, Might not of happened!!!!!

  6. 6

losing a pet is like losing a loved one. Especially when they are an intricate part of life. Daisy was her best friend and she is going to go through a very hard process of greif, i hope people give her respect and room.

  7. 7

It would only worry me if she didn't react the same if one of her parents or actual human being close to her was taken away from her and never to return.

  8. 8

Who cares if she was crazy for the dog!? At least she didnt abuse it like those sick fuckers out there who are cruel to innocent animals. Poor Daisy.

  9. 9

    filed under woof woof??? wtf?

  10. 10

The coyote should've returned the dog and come back for Simpson. Now that's a whale that could've fed the whole pack.

  11. 11

BATSHIT crazy?! Really?! Like having t-shirts made and selling them on a high traffic website? More like, she was a good pet owner who has feelings and should be respected in what is clearly a difficult time. Don't be a fool… leave her alone and let her mourn her loss without worrying about what "Perez is gonna say"

  12. 12

The poor thing. BTW- leaving the AC on for the dog, or a tv/radio or anything like that is perfectly normal, especially if it's hot out! That's not crazy, it's cruel not to. This story just breaks my heart. i've got two small dogs and if a coyote carried one of them off right in front of me, I don't know how i'd deal.

  13. 13

    Cold hearted bitches.

The love I feel for my dog and the love I feel for my children comes from the same place in my brain. There is no doubt whatsoever that my children come first. However, the 'love' itself is the same love. I don't know about you, but I don't have a 'dog' love, a 'people' love, a 'cat' love etc. Love is love.

And I do everything that Simpson does including steak for dinner.

I understand her distress and that's about the only thing I do understand about her!

  14. 14

Re: Big Black Dick – LAWLLLLZZZZ!!!

  15. 15

Be strong Jessica,Daisy knows that you love her.

  16. 16

hummm, per, when was the last time, YOU played or went for a long walk with your dog? you do know such a pet needs more than dumb gay presents, don't you? you know, now that you're a celebrity and a fashionista and all… *snicker*

  17. 17

Who the hell are you to call anyone Simpleton? She couldn't possibly be any more retarded that YOU. Also, why is it batshit crazy to feed your dog steak and leave the A/C on for it? Wow. Now we know how poor Teddy must be treated.

  18. 18

It's very sad to loose a pet. Her reaction is most likely from a combo of things. Her failed country music career and failed relationships.

  19. 19

Perez it's not crazy to leave the air conditioning on for your dog. Would you let Teddy suffer in a warm stuffy house when you were away? Also, would you not be devastated if you lost Teddy? Most people are when they lose a pet, especially under circumstances like this.

  20. 20

I can truly see why Jessica is taking it hard since that Daisy was more faithful to her than any human being around. When you have a dog that long the bond is irreplaceable and you just can't buy another one because it won't be the same. Growing up with dogs myself I remember this one dog I had for 6 years and when I was at my lowest somehow it seemed like he understood me and comforted me. When I was young my dad would physically and emotionally abuse me and would kick me out of the house the only one there to comfort me was that dog. Somehow I didn't feel alone anymore and till this day I remember him. Sadly he was intentionally murdered by my neighbor but I never had the evidence to prove but I knew they hated him with passion. I think a missing dog is worst because you really don't have closure. I hope Jess is okay…its just hard.

  21. 21

I feel soo bad for her. Man, and the fact she seen the dog get snatched by coyotes and STILL thought their was a chance the dog wuz alive is even sadder. I dont know, talk about wishful thinking of a little dog like that fighting off a bunch of wild dogz. Mind boggling. Did she REALLY believe the dogz were raising it in the wild?

  22. 22

I won't criticize her for this one! I would go bat shit if anything happened to my pug. She's my girl. Poor daisy.

  23. 23

To lose the favourite hard. But it is even heavier to understand that with you nobody wishes to be a number, except a dog.

  24. 24

    25

wow is it hilarious that a chubtastic, talentless loser would rip on someone for losing a pet. Many people across the world cherish their pets, one could say that connection is the very reason people have pets in the first place. Now I know you're a loser, that's a given. And I know no one ever loved you as much as jes loved that dog. I'm quite sure your mom loves Jes's dog more then she loves you. Oh you're 15 mins will be up soon, as soon as the brain dead masses that log onto your page find the next flavor du jour. Then you can go back to being an angry, cellulite infested loser who's sole talent is using paint (not even photoshop) to draw cum stains on the faces of people who's excrement has more value, talent and cerebral content then you do. Enjoy the time you hemmorhoid on the ass of society, times just about up.

  26. 26

I find the lack of sympathy over this situation very sad. Some of you are spot on with your comments regarding the place a loved pet has in your life. Many have serious issues with a person that adores their pet. Almost as many have concerns over those that abuse their pets. Apparently you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. To those that continue to berate Jessica over her love for her dog, I still have to wonder, what’s it to you?

  27. chang says – reply to this

    27

Say what you will but that is just HORRIFIC! I love love love my 2 babies and I couldn't even imagine! I think I would go ape shiz too! Poor Jessica! :( I will keep her in my prayers!

    28

Losing a dog is like having a death in the family–and knowing that Daisy suffered such a violent death must give Jessica nightmares. I'm sure she's completely devastated and I don't blame her. I'm not a Jessica Simpson fan, but I feel very bad for her. I love my dogs too–there's nothing wrong with spoiling your dog. She deserve our sympathy, not tabloid bashing.

  29. 29

that's so sad, I actually feel bad for her!

  30. 30

Speaking for and about myself, if one of my dogs or cats were to become lost, my world would crash and heart would break.
On Ken Paves, his Shampoo and Conditioner are GREAT, if you can afford $80 a month for them I swear you'll love it.
I'd be so so down if anything happened to one of my pets, I hope you find Daisy soon, Jess.

  31. 31

I feel absolutely terrible for her. That dog was something that was very dear to her and for you to make fun or light of the situation is just cruel! You absolutely don't have a heart. Why don't you kick her while she's down a little more? You have a painted portrait of your dog hanging on your wall, who the fuck are you to speak?

  32. 32

thats mean to refer to her as simpleton! what if you lost teddy? its sad when your beloved pet goes missing. they are part of your family. how is she supposed to react. about her neediness, sometimes there are times in your life where you will be alone. there is nothing wrong about it, but its good to just take in yourself and enjoy your life. be strong!

  33. 33

Re: disko2k – yeah i thought you were supposed to leave the air on for a pet anyway

  34. 34

    Re: pradagirl7

aww that is so sad. im sorry. i remember my dog peaches used to always try to comfort me when i was crying.

  35. 35

What a lousy way to present Jessica Simpson and her situation. She's a needy simpleton cuz she loves her dog? How 2 faced of you Perez. Looks like u just needed a catchy headline. Is that all your dog is? A catchy prop for you?

  36. 36

Most people would be more distraught over losing that dog than that whippin' boy QB (Tony Romo).

  37. 37

Perez. at least other sites credit PEOPLE MAGAZINE for their info and do not try to act like they got the info from exclusive sources like you.

Why don't you try ferreting out a story on your own sometime and not steal info from other publications and then act like you found this out on your own,

  38. 38

    HAHAHAHAHAHA
    that is too rich

  39. 39

f*** you perez. i'm no fan of jessica's either, but i'm not going to kick her when she's down. i have a 6 year old dog and would die if anything happened to him.

Besides, considering your obsession with teddy, isn't this post little hypocritical?

  40. 40

I doubt it's healthy for a dog to have a steady diet of just steak. Poor thing though. Such a cute little face she had.

  41. 41

i feel so bad for her!!!! i have a pet who means the world to me. i know i'd feel the same way if something were to ever happen to him.

i hope she stays strong and feels better soon!!!! rip daisy! :(

  42. 42

What a psycho. I lost dogs too and its sad but damn, definantly not the end of the world.

  43. 43

Yeah, I read CNN too. Way to cut and paste.

Leave this girl alone. If your dog was snatched by a coyote you bet your ass you'd have a million little tribute posts up.

  44. 44

My friend was on her way to pick up that dog from the breeder as a puppy, but was beat out for the "famous" Nick Lachey. Poor Daisy would still be here if my friend could've bought her!
I do feel badly for Jessica though. Losing a pet is HORRIBLE!!

  45. 45

Gee, I read the same thing on the People website yesterday….. the exact same thing. It's a wonder they don't sure you for plagiarism.

I feel badly for her. Losing a dog, you love, is like losing a child… Daisy was a child to her. I know how she feels, I lost my "heart dog" over three years ago and I'm still sad about it. I miss him every day.

  46. 46

    Re: parcelcrusher
There is no need for the cruel comments people!!!!!!!!! Y dnt some of ye get a heart…
I have 3 dogs and if i lost any of them id be heartbroken too. they are great company sometimes better than most people…
I feel so bad for that poor little doggie, can you image she must have been so afraid and so sore…its just sad and horrible.

ladies and gents, we all love gossip. We all love to poke fun at others, and at ourselves. But let this serve as a potent reminder of why this scumbag Perez Hilton is the magnitude of loser that he is. He is completely unoriginal, no special charactertistics, charm or intellect to separate him from any number of fat, angry bloggers who's claim to fame is talking shit about people who know what it's like to suffer, sacrifice and put in the time and effort to succeed at something they love. All of you that ride this losers jock like he's something special (mainly pre-pubescent kids who don't know better yet) are equally to blame for letting a no talent loser believe he's anything special, anything more then a complete steaming pile of shit.

He sucks the ass of those he's afraid to cross, and puts in the cross hairs teens and celebs who granted may be on the downslide of their fame, but people who've worked hard and know what its like to explore their talent and take it to a level a miscreant like Perez could never accomplish. Oh and good luck with your pathetic record label, what's the over under on that failed venture?

  51. 51

I feel for her, it's not nice that her supposed friends are selling the tabloids stories about her misery! Stay strong Jess!

  52. 52

    It's a dog….Move ON!

  53. 53

If something like that happened to my puggy, I'd just die. Maybe you better leave her alone on this one. I don't agree with feeding a dog steak on a regular basis, but the other stuff really isn't that big of deal. We all become very attached to our pets, including you, Perez. Lay off.

  54. 54

I loooove dogs and Jessica Simpson seems like a sweet girl. I don't wish the loss of a pet on anybody, it's a horrible feeling. All the people hating on Jessica need to stop. She's obviously having a rough time. And if I had a fine a** man like Tony Romi I would probably smother him too.

  55. 55

i could not stop laughing when i found our a coyote ate her dog. you have to admit, that IS funny. plus that fucking dog must have tasted DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

  56. 56

I can't even imagine losing a pet, especially the way she lost Daisy. So sad.

  57. 57

Wow, did she have a huge painting of her dog in her apartment? Did she blog about it constantly?

    What a loser!

  58. 58

    Poor girl, this is heartbreaking

  59. 59

Lay off, Perez. My two dogs were killed by coyotes 2 months ago and I can assure you it's the most devastating thing imaginable. Some idiot opened my back gate and they got out… off on a little adventure, I imagine, and the next day someone found them. Trixie was already dead but this good samaritan took Jacques to a vet but they couldn't save him. Both were microchipped and that's how I found out what happened to them. Losing your dog is one thing, but losing it to vicious coyotes is beyond comprehension. Trust me on this. Now play nice.

  60. 60

    Re: demos987
You are a pig. You're comment absolutely made me sick. Were you not loved as a child, or what? Time to get over it and develop some compassion, for crying out loud.

    Disgusting.

  61. 61

Hellooooo, Perez, you would be doing the same thing if it was your Teddy. DONT BE A HATER on someone loving their animals. it is a true and unconditional love! I would be insane and trying to get on CNN trying to have a national emergency declared if it was one of my babies.

  62. 62

i am really hoping it was one of his writers and not him personally saying this. Perez is a character but he does have a soft spot.

  63. 63

I just lost my dog Abby back in May, due to cancer. She was like velcro and never left my side. Just the best dog anyone could ask for! I was lost when she died. The pain is indescribable. And yes, it hurts just as much as losing friend or family member that is human. Please don't kick Jessica when she is down, because it could easily happen to you!

  64. 64

    Re: therealstinkweed

    Really! Uh, pot meet kettle!

  65. 65

OH EM GEE! SOMEONE JUST PUT A DAMN DOG ON HER DOORSTEP AND SHE'LL NEVER NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE! ITS JESSICA!!

  66. 66

Just when you think this girl couldn't possibly be dumber, you hear a story like this…

  67. 67

k seriously, its a frickin dog! I hate to be insensitive, but jesus. its not like her sister or mom just died. everything is probably just piling up on her right now too. hopefully things will get better. i do feel bad, but it was a damn dog. there are way worse things.

  68. 68

    Re: Race Bannon – How's Racer X?

  69. 69

Her box smells like cool ranch doritos

  70. 70

Aww my heart aches for her. god bless jessica and daisy

  71. 71

Losing a pet is like losing a loved one. People that don't get attached or never owned a pet don't quite understand.

What's with all these so called "friends" reporting all of this to the papperazzi? I mean seriously… that's rediculous.

  72. 72

i would be devastated if my dog was killed. personally, i'm not that over the top with my dog but i definitely find myself doing things that i used to make fun of other dog owners for! and i know a lot of people who do bday parties, etc. for their dogs.

  73. 73

SOME PETS ARE BETTER COMPANIONS THAN PEOPLE.IT IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AT IT'S BEST.LEAVE HER ALONE AND STOP ALREADY WITH THE HATEFULE COMMENTS,MOST OF YOU HATERS PROBABLY DON'T EVEN HAVE PETS,SO DON'T TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW….

  74. 74

She was ok when Tony split, but she's crazy without her dog…understandable.

  75. 75

That dog was lucky to have her as her owner. Awww.

  76. 76

Dogs are awesome and I love them! We are lucky to have them share our lives. Sorry Jessica. This isnt funny, it is a serious heartbreak.

  77. 77

Re: demos987 – You suck to be so happy about someones sadness. Uncool.

  78. 78

poor Jessica… I love my pets too and I can imagine just how hard her loss is. My pets are my family as well and in a way, they are like my children because they need me to take care of them. They also give me unconditional love and I feel safe with them in ways that I don't feel with another person. I totally understand what she's going through.

  79. 79

It's a fucking dog. Get another one. I like animals just as much as the next person but Jessica needs help. This is one bitch who should have never become famous. Loser.

  80. 80

If this is true it is a lilttle crazy but i can understand why she would be like that its hard for her!!

  81. 81

Perez you are just as loving and mental over Teddy and you call yourself his Dad! But if she was so concerned with her dog WHY DID SHE LEAVE HER OFF THE LEASH WHERE COYOTES ROAM??? Was she hiking in the hills and she let her walk free?? She should never let a tiny dog like that run around without a leash or in a place where either a coyote (or a hawk) could get to her. I feel sick for her as I know how I would feel if I lost my kitties in a way I could have prevented (in fact I did lose one and I have never ever gotten over it and will never forgive myself). She learned a very hard lesson and her beautiful little dog paid for her carelessness. It only takes a second for something bad to happen to anyone, animal or human. I hope she donates a lot of money to the rescue shelter where she gets her next dog (hopefully). Poor little Daisy! :(

  82. 82

I am not a fan of Jessica Simpson, but I certainly can empathize with how heartbroken and devastated she is.

My dad died suddenly in June, 2006. On January 8, 2008 (19 months later), my BELOVED cat suddenly became ill, and by the following morning was critically-so. Liver failure (and her lungs collapsed while at the vet's). I had no choice but to release my PRECIOUS girl from her suffering, and she passed-away January 9th. I cried harder upon her death (hysterical, in fact) than when my dad had died, was in emotionally shattered by her loss, and STILL cry at times.

My girl was my friend, child, and security blanket for ten years. Like Daisy was to Jessica, my girl saw me through some pretty trying and/or crazy times: an armed robbery, a borderline eating disorder, PTSD, the severing of a wedding engagement, my crazy 20's/early 30's, and the tragic death of my dad.

I am far from being "crazy" or "pathetic", and neither is Ms. Simpson. Like myself, she's lost someone who she loved, and who loved her unconditionally — regardless of who she was, or what she did. And these are significant things that callous, insensitive people will never comprehend. How unfortunate for such people to never understand or know the bond that one may have with a pet.

My heart goes out to Jessica, and I hope that she's shown a lot of support & compassion during this difficult time.

  83. 83

Re: MileyCyrusLooksLikeAChipmunk – Obviously you do NOT love animals the way you started your message. There is no such thing as a "fucking dog" (or cat) to anyone who really loves them and cares about their welfare. You are full of shit and your comment just makes YOU look insensitive and a fucking asshole as well. You cannot "just get another" pet once you have lost one as she did especially as it is her own fault the dog was not on a leash and was so vulnerable in a place where she should have known better. And she has to live with that. So shut your fucking face!!

  84. 84

I don't understand how you of all people can tease her about her relationship with her dog….your dog is your baby too. In fact, I'm guessing you have an unnatural connection to it

  85. Anto says – reply to this

    85

This is just flat-out mean. Having a pet is like having a kid. I feel for her. Shame on you for mocking somebody who lost a loved one.

  86. 86

I totally understand. My "puppy" (who is 5.5 years now) is my baby. I can't have kids, so he's all I have. If a coyote got him, I'd be lost. It'd be like losing my child. My heart goes out to Jessica. I hope she can heal and that she'll be ok.

  87. 87

Re: Miss_Vangroover – Very eloquently and beautifully put!

  88. 88

This is actually the first time I have felt sorry for Jessica. It would haunt me to think about sweet little Daisy being taken by coyotes. I love my dogs, just like you love Teddy - Perez.
    Poor Jess & POOR DAISY!!

  89. 89

Stay strong Jessica. We're all thinking about you and your baby. As time passes, it will get easier. :(

  90. LNW says – reply to this

    90

Perez, you just had someone make a huge portrait of Teddy for you, and you don't think your dog is spoiled? You know you treat your dog exactly like she treated Daisy, that's what people do who love their pets. Jessica treated her dog way better then Aubrey O Day does.

  91. 91

why do you hate on Jessica Simpson….

She has never hurt or beat someone, she is not a skanky whore, she is a sweet talented Texas girl, she has never been someone to put another person down, it is not her fault that Tony Romo is a talentless piece of crap quaterback/media whore

This is a sweet beautiful person who has not one bad bone in her body. BE NICE!

  92. 92

go get a new one. a.s.a.p.

  93. 93

People need to be a little more considerate to Jessica, this is by far worse than losing any boyfriend or getting a divorce. I for one am so sad for her. It will take a long long time to recover from such a loss. My heart bleeds for her at this time!!

  94. 94

Seriously, I know exactly how Jess is feeling. My baby Chihuahua has been missing since the 18th. This has been THEEE worst week of my life. He was MY baby. Life sucks without your best friend

  95. 95

Oh, come on it was a dog not a person. I don't think that dog understood anything. It was a very very cute dog but it was a dog. Yes, you love it and care for it and give it stuff but she really needs to move on and get a life. What is she a D lister now?

P.S: I am a previous dog owner. Love dogs but not allowed anymore because of Allergies.

  96. 96

Um, maybe Daisy jumped into the coyote's mouth. Just sayin'.

  97. 97

I don't understand why you would call her "batshit crazy"… you parade your dog around as a commodity piece. I empathize with her pain, I have two chihuahua rescue dogs and if anything happened to them I have no idea how I would be able to deal with it. What is wrong with leaving the a/c on for her dog? She lives in California for Christs Sake? I leave the fan on for my dogs in the summer, and the TV! So what? Who is it hurting that she has a strong emotional attachment to her dog? I congratulate her for being able to love an animal that much. People are so often cruel to animals, they deserve to be treated much better than they are. When I have steak for dinner I always put a little aside for my girls to have a treat, I also buy them high end dog food and organic treats..does that make me crazy? Or should I buy the generic dog food that is full of ash and fillers?

  98. 98

CONTINUED: Jeez I used to admire how much you loved your dog Teddy Perez but now that I see you feel that leaving AC on for an animal in a hot climate is over the line I wonder how you treat your dog. Why don't you concentrate on gossip rather than your opinion of that gossip. I hope that Jessica is able to cope with her loss, though it would be a beautiful story for Daisy to come back I'ms ure we all know that she is gone. She was loved very much in the short time that she was alive. Jessica doesn't need people like you judging her. IF it was Lady Gaga doing it you'd be heading up a search party dressed like an idiot like you were at the last awards show you went to. Even though you think you look "fierce" you look like an idiot. You should stay BEHIND your computer screen, no one gives a shit about seeing your ass face.
