They may sound like they're from England, but this duo is actually from San Francisco.

Their music is reminiscent of great Brit pop circa the '80s. Think Pet Shop Boys.

The name of the band is The Limousines and their synth-pop is super catchy, as best exemplified in their instantly infectious Very Busy People.

      Sounds similar to the Pet Shop Boy's style, but the song itself sounds closely influenced by none other than the Backstreet Boy's "Shape of my Heart." Seriously check it out on youtube and compare the tunes.

      Sleepy/Flirty vocals, Folk Melodies over Electro-Pop beats.

      I love The Limousines' music! I missed them at both BFD and The Big Show here in the bay this past year. But I'm always stoked to hear them on the radio!

      this song is decent, but i just saw them in concert this past weekend and they are HORRIBLE performers. they really don't know how to perform in front of a crowd.

It took some convincing for me to sign up for this website in order to be able to comment and give some love to The Limos, yet you people were already here obviously loving and listening to anything Perez dishes out anyway, so don't start hating now. GET REAL, YOU PROBABLY DIG THIS MUSIC DEEP DOWN INSIDE AND ARE JUST TOO AFRAID TO ADMIT IT. It's okay to like new music, it don't bite and no one will make fun of you. The lyrical content in this song is the anthem to our adolescent youth, anyone else saying the contrary is just a negative creep!

      good as a Pet Shop Boys Song.

      I like it. DOB 1975, so I guess that makes me a "child" of the 80's. The 80"s were quirky, fun…A great song can be found in every genre-some people feel music, some just hear it. Perez is pretty rounded , I have come to love many due to his posts…Julian Perretta is awesome. Influenced by Supertramp and I doubt the majority of you know who they are! This is a PERFECT song to sing aloud with friends, in a bar, a little tipsy, on karaoke night. I guess that's what we 30 somethings do.

      They are around for a while, FINALLY you pick up on them Perez..about time.
      This is a GREAT SONG, great lyrics, and who the fuck cares how they look?
      you're shallow if you only think about looks (that is what this site is all about, right?)
      This is a great tune from 2 great people. One of them actually says some really good things if you get to know him a bit better. love it!

      Many Kudos to you Perez. "Very Busy People" is a damn good song. Like you said it is indeed "Instantly infectious". To those who don't like it that's cool. But some of the brutal things that come out of your mouths amaze me. Thank god for Karma. Perez you called this one right. Thanks for bringing it to the attention of your fans (I think). One day The Limo's will be laughing all the way to the bank while "Italians Do It Better" will still be installing car alarms for a living and cutting musicians to their very core.

      I've been listening to these guys since Eric left Strata in January 2008. I love them. I haven't seen the Limos, but based on the videos I've seen and the two times I've seen Strata, I'm sure they're great live. some people on here said they sucked like, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Eric is a really really nice guy, and Gio seems really awesome too. I hope good things come to them. they deserve it.
