      Perez, It scored an 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. The review in Variety says "By returning to his roots, professional gadfly Michael Moore turns in one of his best films. "….And the NYTimes said "Like most of his movies, Capitalism is a tragedy disguised as a comedy; it’s also an entertainment. "

      Youve picked one of the few bad reviews. Of COURSE the NYPost is going to hate his films, the Post breaks more conservative AND they were quite supportive of Wall Street during the bailout. At least fact check before you post something.

      For a while, Rotten Tomatoes had a 75% on Land of the Lost before it dropped like a pot.. tomato. Rotten Tomatoes is based solely on user feedback. Chances are, people who would see through the film for the capitalist money machines they are, while going against capitalism - wouldn't watch it anyways. But then again, it's obvious, people drooling over the Rotten Tomato percentage don't even care the movie isn't even playing yet, so the "real" public hasn't seen it. Or that it's 81% is not on par with the rating of 6.9/10 which would suggest that taking out the pass or fail system, it's down to 69%. Interesting it's gotten such "great" reviews BEFORE THE MOVIE IS OUT. Or that a "fresh" rating garnered this review - This is a typical Moore oeuvre: funny, often over the top and of dubious documentation… back to my words - Moore is a poison on this society and anyone who thinks he speaks the truth is a blind follower who thinks Al Gore is "green".

      I recently watched an online interview where he said(Not my words)that he felt like a failed film maker because he hopes to change things with his movies and nothing happens.He cited "Bowling for Colmbine".He took on the NRA and nothing changed.He cited "Farenheight 9/11" and Bush got re-elected.And he also cited "Sicko"and he belives that there won't be universal health coverage after all.Makes you wonder why he bothered takeing on our capitalist system other than to make a fast buck off everyones current finacial misery!

      No, rotten tomatoes is based on Critical feedback if you are in the Critics section. This movie as of now has scored over 80% positive reviews from movie critics.

      Yes, Moore benefits from capitalism, but he doesn't abuse it like the ultra rich do in their everyday life. Through hardwork, skill, creativity, etc., he has created films individuals want to see. He pays his workers a living wage and gives them health insurance. He doesn't exploit the system; he operates within the rules of capitalism. Moore's point is that the ultra-rich don't follow the rules; they don't know what hardwork really is. It's not Moore who wants your ten bucks, it's the movie studios and movie theatres that want your ten dollars. Yes, Moore benefits by people seeing his movie, but the money he makes is nothing in comparison to the movie studio.

      Save yourself some trouble and just go see another comic book movie-it's more your speed.

      I believe Iread Michael Moore gave a FREE screening to this movie in hs home town because unemployment is so high there…didn' charge the $10 everyone on hereseems so worried about!
