Chyna Phillips Speaks On Her Family's Incest Drama!

Chynna Phillips, Mackenzie Phillips' half-sister, is speaking out about those creepy details that her sibling discussed in an interview with Oprah and are also detailed in her new book, High on Arrival.

The Wilson Phillips member reveals that in 1997 she received a phone call from Mackenzie while she was in between flights at LaGuardia Airport.

Shares Chynna, "She said, 'I don't know why, but I just really felt the need to call you and tell you something that I think you need to know. And she went on to tell me that she had had an incestuous relationship with our dad for about 10 years."

That's an awkward and terrible way to find out!

So how did she take the news?

"Somebody could have dropped a piano on my head and I probably wouldn't have felt it. But I knew it was true. I mean, who in their right mind would make such a claim if it wasn't true?"

Chynna goes on to confirm that her half-sister and father did do drugs together.

"After long nights of heroin use, she's claiming that she once woke up and that my father was on top of her having sex with her. Was he actually raping her? I don't know. Do I believe that they had an incestuous relationship and that it went on for 10 years? Yes."

The more we find out, the more we feel bad for everyone involved.

Well it does explain how messed up MaKenzie is. She also said she was raped when she was 14 years old after a night out in hollywood partying.

  7. 7

What? Did she daddy was just going to GIVE her that dimebag of junk?

  8. 8

"I mean, who in their right mind would make such a claim if it wasn't true?"
Does she want us to believe her junkie half-sis was in her right mind? While I don't dispute Mac's story, I find Chynna's claim laughable.

  9. 9

    Fucked up!

  10. 10

    enough already!
b4 i ralph up my sunny-side up eggs n bacon!!!

  11. 11

I think we can now say honestly that Mackenzie had a reason to be stoned out of her mind most of her life. Talk about facing your giants. I hope it helps heal her some.

  12. 12

let me guess another repressed memory some fucking dr got out of her while on drugs…. im sorry but if she was really getting raped, why did it take her forever to tell anyone?

  13. 13

How come Chynna is so boring? Why didn't any fun stuff happen to her?

  14. 14

Why would you do Mackenzie when you could be doing Chynna??!?! That's the part that doesn't make sense.

  15. 15

    Well, ick.
Why do we need to know?

  16. 16

if you woke up and found your father on you (the first, 100th or millionth time), wouldn't you have told someone, put a stop to it, yelled and screamed???? she let this go on for 10 frigging years. that is so disgusting and pathetic. i just threw up in my mouth.

  17. 17

Re: Kimmy Gibbler – KIMMY!!!! Long time no fist, how's your butthole?

Re: JigSaw – She didn't say she was getting raped…she said she had consensual sex with her father. Big Difference…Read the news not just Perez.

  20. 20

    F***ing Hippies!

  21. 21

No wonder she was strung out all the time. She has a lot of shit to shovel through in her life and hopefully she can finally find peace.

  22. 22

That stinks. I hate disfunctional families.

  23. 23

I used to feel sorry for makenzie. I always thought there was something sex like going on, BUT I thought he abused her as a little girl. To find out she did this with him as a consenting adult just makes me sick. I now feel bad for her in the way that you would a sick person, but not for what I thought was her atrocious upbringing. I wish she would just shut up now.

  25. 25

    another heart-warming story……..wonderful people

  26. 26

I mean really? Am I supposed to feel sorry for Mackenzie? Her sis says the relationship probably wen ton for 10 years. Sorry no sympathy from me.

  27. 27

Why are we even discussing this? Why can't she just discuss this in private? Why tell the world? If I told the world my problems, I'd have to take drugs too. Jeez Louise! Seek PRIVATE therapy!!!

  28. 28

    Sad and creepy. Poor Mackenzie.

  29. 29

so perez you actually feel sorry for everyone involved. do you mean that fat dead child rapist from that fucked up hippy band the mamas and the papas, aka mackenzie's father?

  30. buck says – reply to this

    f***ing liberal hippies

  31. 31

Because people like Mackenzie have been in the public eye their ENTIRE LIVES. Every bit of her personal and professional life has been scrutinized since she was a child. She HAS no private life. Why should she keep it private when everyone knows everything else about her? It would just come out eventually in a tabloid or by a psychiatrist, medical doctor, SOMEONE.

  32. 32

John Phillips was never known for being with ugly women.
Attention seeking sociopaths are not known for love of the truth.

  33. 33

Re: ~Ijustdontcare~ – I actually think he probably did abuse her as a young child as well and maybe she has repressed those memories. I mean this girl has been messed up since adolecence so I believe something else happened.

  34. 34

too much info.ugggg keep that nasty shit to yourself

  35. 35

God will deal with him. Did the poor child have a mother to speak of? God blesses all children that are abused by people and he has a special place for them in Heaven.

  36. 36

Doing the math, it went on from 28 to 38. She was hardly a child.

  37. 37

Many of you are ignorant to this type of situation. Maybe you should do your research being making horrible claims against her. FIRST OF ALL, PEREZ, MOST PEOPLE DON'T MAKE THIS UP. I find it very offensive that you would make the comment "plenty of people." A VERY HIGH PERCENTAGE of people are tellling the truth about this kind of the stuff. This subject matter is NOT something people take lightly and would put themselves through if it were false. SECOND, for it to go on for 10 years or more is normal. SHE WAS A CHILD. Its not always easy to tell someone, especially if you don't have a trusted person you can go to. As a child, your parent is someone you trust and its very confusing when they abuse that trust. THIRD, to wait a long time to reveal the truth is NORMAL as well. It is a very hard topic to talk about and its embarrassing. But eventually, keeping silent eats you up inside and you have to eventually let it out and speak the truth. To those of you that said she should've kept it secret and not talk about it — that's the WORST thing she could do. It is important to speak up about these issues and make an awareness about it. We NEED to protect our children from these sick men, and show them that there IS support out there if they come out with the truth. This is why children, and even adults, are scared to come out. Because of ignorant comments like the ones above me. Show some compassion!

  38. 38

She wants to share this so everyone will understand why she was such a druggie. She is not obligated to keep this a secret. I'm sure she wishes she'd spoken up much sooner.

  39. 39

The more this story is out there the more I thing it's someone out for attention and money. You can throw all the Psyco Babble you want at it but the fact remains she grew up in a world and lifestyle she didn't want to walk away from which she could of at any point. Claiming all this happened when she was of legal age makes her look that much more pathetic. This is typical of todays society, blame all your past bad behavior and vices on everybody else even the dead for what a train wreck of a person you turned into instead of taking responsibilty for yourself and just walking away. Besides who really cares!!!

  40. 40

    Re: KevinK – craaaazy

  41. 41

I heard the story two ways. ONE, she was 10 when it started. TWO, she was 19 and it was consentual. If she was 10 when she started, then I stand by my statements on comment #38. If it started when she was an ADULT and she consented…then she's fucking disgusting and shouldn't be talking about it. Even if it was due to drugs…which she shouldn't be doing anyway…then she's still disgusting.

  42. 42

Our society tends to glamorize the 60s and 70s….free love, self awareness, and all that other crap. In truth, this story IS the story of the 60s and 70s. People doing whatever they want with no morals and no sense of right and wrong. I wish that era can be erased right out of our history books!

  43. 43

This makes me incredibly sad but I'm not judging her at all. I hope she gets some peace and healing from letting it all out.

  44. 44

Re: KevinK – Your math isn't earth math.

  45. 45

Re: FastTalker – Ya! Fuck the Civil Rights movement and Women's Lib! Put those people back in their place!!
    Everyone is a moron.

  46. 46

Well, consent is a verbal SOBER yes, it doesn't matter that someone was having sex with her, if you are even slightly intoxicated then you can't give consent. This is something that may be "ew," but it happens a lot more than you think. And yes, it does need to be shared, not enough people know how bad an epidemic sexual assault, rape, and molestation are an issue in this country.

  47. 47

Terrible! Just terrible! I believe Mackenzie's story. Her father was a well known drug addict who was extremely, emotionally messed up. It is not a surprise that he's think it's a good idea to have sex with his own daughter. It's a terribly, terribly dysfunctional family. I know Mackenzie feels that she had to get this off her chest, I just don't know if making it public is a good thing for her psyche.

  48. 48

Jeez pervez, this explains a lot about poor Mackensie's addictions. Wonder what the cover-up of Sarah Palin's sordid family values will reveal. Think of the lifetime of damage her lies will wreak on her home-schooled kids, besides the foolish Alaskans.

  49. 49

This goes too far in the self-revelation department. I think it’s true, but I think Mackenzie's told the story now in a calculated move to attract more buyers for her new book. Otherwise, she could have told this story a long time ago, like she did with the Jagger story. TEN YEARS doinking your own father??? How does one keep from vomiting?

  50. 50

It's common to keep childhood trauma a secret (especially involving family).
Most people will tell what happened to them sometime before they grow old.
Most victims are filled with shame and actually blame themselves.
I feel bad for Mackenzie .. no wonder most of her life has been a big mess.

  51. 51

this is nasty but whats worse is that pic of grandma, she needs to wear a bra

  52. 52

Re: Yellow Peeps – You said it Right. Sexual abuse victims vilify themselves when it belongs on the offender(s). Trauma really is wicked and is not sane how it plays out. Everyone here seems to think nothing of the abuse because they can't fit that horror into their heads and that's how compassion for the victim becomes obsolete-denial. She's had a horrendous life. People, grant her peace so she can heal. Don't you all think she would like to erase it? But she can't like no one else can the garbage we've all done in life.

  53. 53

Nobody needs to hear about this. Its a personal matter she should be dealing with in therapy. Unfortunately she's using this to sell a book and make money. Its not going to help her any in the long term.

  54. 54

Re: gorgeous_chik7 – Shouldn't you be on Oprah or something?!

  55. 55

Re: pusspuss – Have you read the number of women who have responded on blogs about tis having happened to them? She is actually reaching out and helping other women. She could have left this out and still sold books. Her "outing" the situation was a public service.

  56. 56

mac's lying….10 years ????? and she "adores" him?….and was married? sounds like drug induced dreams to me, and should be a thorn in the side to real abuse survivors…she makes me vomit

  57. ebmo says – reply to this

    Re: pusspuss

Yes, lets cover it up like child abuse, rape, homosexulaity, pedophilia, sposal abuse….am I missing anything? Having worked in the legal field for 20 year as a social work/ advocate I think you are right…lets cover up everything that makes us uncomfortable! That way we never have to try to STOP discrimination!

    What a moron you are!

  58. 58

    I am so there!
oh wait I am so drunk I can hardly speak let alone get it up
