Mischa Barton showed up for a screening of Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story this week, but it was completely by accident!
According to the NY Post, "Mischa Barton showed up and was asking for tickets. She started walking the red carpet and saw it was sponsored by Esquire Soho, the men's magazine's Soho Mews penthouse. Then, our witness says, 'She took one look around and realized she was in the wrong place.'"
The idiot finally headed across the street to the Metropolitan Opera's opening of Tosca!
Although, many people were confused by the choice of Moore's venue, as attendees were seated in the City Balcony - a part of the theater sponsored by the greed plagued Citibank.
But, no excuse for Mushy!
She didn't even make it inside!

I know that you were trying to imply that the seating arrangement was kind of hypocritical…but is there another way of getting the message out there to the masses? I mean, the choice is between getting the message into the mass media so it can reach broad audiences or, simply to a smaller one, right?
Yeah but just think how funny it would have been if she had carried on thinking she was at the Tosca opening and then given her opinions on it in interviews later.
But in all seriousness. She could have learnt something. Something that doesn't involve fashion, who's fucking who in Hollywood and which drugs are best for which highs.
HAHA! Wait! I just remembered what she wore to that opera opening. Oh man, she must have looked so out of place at the Moore screening. Hell, even if she dressed like she normally does, I'd imagine a lot would have been shocked at seeing her there.

For those of you not in New York, you should know there is a big plaza and and the buildings on each side look pretty much identical whether going to the City Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, etc….

this story seems a little contrived and by that I mean entirely contrived. Leave the poor girl alone, she may have had some bad press, but she's no Lindsay or Paris. And Mushy? what kind of nickname is that? A lame one if you ask me. Say what you want, she's still hot.
