David Letterman knows how to rake in viewers: Get a President on the air!
He recently had our current esteemed leader, Barack Obama, stop by and he soared in the ratings.
Well, Tuesday night The Late Show welcomed guests Lebron James and former President Bill Clinton.
It killed!
The Late Show averaged 5.15 million viewers and was the most-watched Tuesday airing of the show in a premiere week since 1995.
There aren't that many decent ones left to choose from, but keep getting Commanders in Chief on your couch and you should be good, Dave!

CLINTON WAS THE best president in United States history. I hope Obama can measure up. I am trying to keep faith in him.
oh and one more thing: letterman…. old, outdated and needs to go. also irrelevant.

Politics aside because I assure you all, we agree on absolutely everything…
Lately I've seen a few interesting interviews with Bill Clinton. The charisma literally drips off of him! Argue with me if you will, I bet a few previous interns would back me up. I've yet to watch President Obama's interviews though.
Granted this posting was about appearances/ratings, I like that this site occasionally dips their big toe into politics, the awareness it could possibly generate by doing this more could be overwhelming.
It would either create hipsters that shocked people at cocktail parties with their politically savvy conversations…. or thin traffic tremendously.
Re: Redwingsfan. In fact, President Obama did not meet with either Raul Castro or Gaddafi at the UN. Reports mentioned that both Obama and Sec. of State Hillary Clinton left the building before Gaddafi spoke. I don't remember any reports regarding Castro. I don't think he's even there. You should try following some real news instead of fictitious crap.
As long as he doesn't bring W on…..not that I care about his show anyway.

I don't think words like awesome or greatest should acompany any president we've had in the past 49 years. Especially the one we got now, they got a bill now to tax and license and fine people who have garage sales….seriously

Obama will only be a one-term prez if he's not impeached first. He's screwed this country royally so far! Anyone that can QUADRUPLE that national deficit in a little more than 8 months, he doesn't need to be sitting in the White House. Clinton sucked as well. Libertarians need to take control of this country if the Republicans don't. Liberals/Democrats are trying to turn the US into a communist country. LESS GOVERNMENT, PLEASE! And he needs to stop blaming GW Bush for his own decisions. Although Bush was not the brightest crayon in the box, he was still a better prez than Obama.

David Letterman use poor judgement for having sex with the "staff". The network he works for should fire him for exposing them to workplace lawsuits for sexual harrassment. The network needs to do the right thing and get rid of this problem just like any other company.
