Not only has Christina Aguilera lent her voice and image to a PSA for the World Hunger Relief campaign, the pop star just returned from a trip to Guatemala where she witnessed starvation and malnutrition first-hand. Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman traveled to villages near Lake Atitlan to meet the people of Guatemala that the WFP continues to aid. Says Christina:

"I wanted to see with my own eyes what hunger means. As a mom my heart just breaks when I see how young mothers... struggle to feed their children. I don’t think I can ever forget these images. The people of WFP do such a great job helping hungry children and mothers. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful project and incredible team."

According to reports, over 80% of the children in Guatemala are malnourished, placing it 4th highest of the countries with the largest number of malnourished children. So how has the trip affected Aguilera/default.jpg"/>Xtina Travels To Guatemala To Help Stop World Hunger

I guess I will be the only one to go ahead and admit that Sliimy's song "wake up" is catchy. I'm not into that type of music but I catch myself singing it in my head. You all need to stop hatin. And I would go see his tour if they came in my area. You all hate but yet, you still go on his website everyday. Who are the losers I wonder??

Sliimy is a really sweet young lady and may blossom into a real talent, but is not a "singing sensation" in France and he's basically unknown in the UK. (I know because I live in Europe). He made a HUGE mistake signing up with you and your record label, because one only gets one chance at making it in the US, and your really bad karma will probably capsize him. It's pathetic to see you push push push him just because he signed with you.

Re: moralesgal03 – I love Indy music- especially abstract, original music since I'm an artist myself. I wish Sliimy all the luck in the world, but I can't buy his album. I can't buy it because I don't like his song. I've broke down and bought catchy tunes I couldnt stand before, but his song Wake Up annoys me. It's that simple… no psychology behind it.
