We told you about the Michael Jackson Opus book some time ago, which is a massive book dedicated to the life and music of MJ and one of the last projects Michael oversaw personally.

What we had no idea about was this brand new technology that creates live action on paper!

      I work at Best Buy and they used this technology for the cover of their ad a few weeks ago. You could log on to the best buy website and hold up the cover of the ad and the website would recognize your webcam and when you held it up, it turned into a 3D version of the laptop they had on sale

      Not new technology, but becoming more popular….sports cards have been doing this for a little while now, so there is nothing "BRAND NEW" about it fatboy…get your facts straight.

      Honestly that technology is not that impressive.
      All it does is use image recognition (nothing new) and then impose the video onto that image.
      Besides who wants to sit in front of a PC holding some card in front of your webcam just to watch a vid with diminished video quality?

      The the moving image appears on the computer screen via the webcam, you moron. It's not appearing on the paper.

Michael is no longer here in the present but his legacy and spirit will always be here. "He's Not coming Back" How about you tell yourself that everytime you hear one of his songs, or see one of the many people that he influenced speak highly of him, or you see one of the countless tributes that have yet to be put on, or tell yourself that this upcoming Sunday when millions around the world flock to their computers or their local theatres to get a glimpse into what it was that Michael was working so hard on (you might be one of those people). Michael will be here forever so deal with it. No person as talented and as wonderful a person as he was will ever be forgotten.

      this is NOT new technology! Its been around for a while used in advertisments and stuff. Its just more well known now cause MJ is using it.

      Just read the comments re the baseball cards already having this technology. My WOW was induced re for personal use someday, I could see families using that to send clips to relatives of the kids, etc.

      Interviews? Will resumes of the future have one of those? Lord, you have to wonder about the applications.

      PEREZ: THAT IS NOT BRAND NEW TECHNOLOGY (IS KIND OF OLD TECHNOLOGY). PEOPLE THE IMAGE IS NOT MOVING!!! THE WEBSITE RECOGNIZES THE PICTURE BIENG CAPTURED BY THE CAMERA AND PLAYS A VIDEO IN THE IMAGE OF THE PAPER NOT IN THE PAPER!!! PEREZ THIS TECHNOLOGY WAS ALSO USED BY CNN DURING THE PRESIDENTIAL EECTIONS(MANY, MANY, TOO MUCH TIMES!!!…). ALSO IF THAT TECHNOLOGY ALREADY EXIST THE MAN IS NOT SAYING THE CONTRAIRY HE JUST SAID THAT IT IS THE FIRST TIME THAT IT IS GOING TO BE USE IN A BOOK!!
