      The song isn't for her, the lyrics are FIERCE but the kinda beat and tone of the song isn't for her voice.. She has (or had) a voice, however I don't think anyone can sing this properly. Let's just say this song is MEANT for lip syncing.

      When Shakira first came out, she was different, the way she looked, sang, and moved. She knew that, her record company used it to their advantage. Now lets fast fwd years later, where she doesn't look or sound any differently than the performers we see today, she just looks older. She is still doing her dance moves from the 90's & really using sex to sell herself & her songs. Now how original is that? When an artist only has tricks to market themselves, they become very boring very quickly. I just wish more 'performers' would sing their songs & stop with gimmicks, (like Lady GaGa, what was with the red lace veil over her face at the MTV Awards). Seriously, where the F*** is all the talent?

      I used to be a huge Shakira fan, not so much anymore. She's become another Britney clone. Don't get me wrong I love Britney. It's just that Shakira did not start out as a Britney clone. We know she is capable of doing other things. She was different and that's why I liked her. She never use to lipsynch. She never use to need backup singers and she used to make better music. It was more about playing instruments. It was more about the music and less about what seductive dance moves can I come up with next. It's unfortunate she decided to sell out. I think people that have been her fans since Pies Descalazos have definitely noticed and that's why her single is not doing as well as expected. Where's the Shaki from Pies Descalzos or Donde estan los ladrones? Not here.
