Pussies On A "Break" (Officially)!
Who didn't see this coming?!
For some time now, rumors have been flying around that the Pussycat Dolls were on their way out of the biz. Talk of jealousy and envy amongst the girls, especcially towards Nicole Scherzinger, have led many to believe that the girls would soon be heading their separate ways.
Well, the time has come, the pussies say, to talk of a " much-needed break" for the girls. Band member Melody Thornton confirmed that the band was taking some time off from each other, but assures fans they will get back together soon she lies would like us to believe.
Purrs the Cat:
"Yeah, we're taking a break. No, [we're not broken up] … everybody keeps saying that, but it's like, let me see who took a break? Dave Chappelle. Remember when Dave Chappelle took that break? OK, maybe Dave Chappelle's a bad example. What about, like, Hootie and the Blowfish"
Uh-huh. Okay. We know somebody who should refamiliarize themselves with pop culture during her break!
As to whether there will be a solo album from Melody anytime, she only admits to loving music and that she will "stay true to my passion.."

Sucks that the other girls are so jealious of Nicole. I understand how it can be annoying when everyone only hear or even knows Nicole but seriously they all joined the group knowing Nicole would be the lead singer and would get most of the spotlight.
They're just now going to try their solo things again, will all fail, and run back for a 3rd album.

I doubt that they are all jealous of Nicole. I think she's the bitch that put that rumor out. Although I would also be pissed if I worked on a song as a group and only 1 member got credit for it like that tramp. (jai ho?) They probably do need a break so Nicole can go back to pimping out her own record again. Seems like for some godawful reason, she is the only one of the band that the media takes interest in. Not sure why…she's not all that great.

From this males opinion, Nicole is definitely the one that stands out and has that It factor that people talk about. I they tried to hard to make her Urban and Street Certified in her solo stuff. heck look at her video they gave her a super dark tan, i almost didn't recognize her. Not saying it is a bad thing it is that it was over to over the top and if they kept to a similar vibe as her work with PCD it would have been better. Her ballads are bad-ass and she can definitely sign.

I agree with you COMPLETELY. They were trying too hard to make her street certified which was really unecessary. She did a duet with Sting, "Powers Out." It was a beautiful song! She is very talented….as for the others? NOOOT!
