Grab 'N' Go Fires Back!

Bill Wheeler, the owner of the Grab 'n' Go Espresso "bikini stand" where 5 women have been accused of prostitution, is striking back, saying that this is all part of the city's attempt to create an "anti-bikini" statute.
Wheeler owns 4 "bikini stands" in the Everett, WA, area and is adamant that the accusations, including charging $80 to flash customers while they fix their lattes, against his employees are untrue.
Wheeler is also claiming that the police have "trumped up these charges" after the women rejected the cops' romantic advances.
Now the Everett city council is proposing a change in their lewd conduct ordinance so that women would not be allowed to bare their breasts in public places.
But, don't worry, they can still wear pasties and sheer undergarments!
Councilman Arlan Hatloe says: “This ordinance isn't directed toward baristas. That's the hotspot right now, but some of these other activities we've heard about would be illegal at a drive-up hamburger stand or a bank.”
LOLs! What?! Is this whole town doing business with topless broads at the helm?
The accused women are expected to appear in court in a few weeks.
P.S. That's usually formal attire, ladies. Better whip out the designer pasties for the judge!

Wow, the accusations are indeed ludicrous (if indeed this is the extent). When I first read this story, I thought the coffee house served as a front for "meeting paying gentlemen", but this flashing boob accusation is ridiculous.

Somehow I believe them. I've seen some of these places on a special on TV. Quite frankly, they seem to make a ton of cash doing it, without needing to do anything else. Plus, didn't the statement that it was a "2-month investigation" strike anyone else as odd? If these ladies were doing any of these things (and let's keep in mind that though the charges were for "prostitution", no one is accused of actually having sex with anyone, it's just using the broader term as applied to showing naked parts) wouldn't it have been pretty easy to prove with a couple visits?

LOL if this is just about these women baring their breasts in public, that is so pathetic. Just what dark ages century are these people living in? In Ontario where I live, it is absolutely legal for any woman to walk around topless in public. The rationale is, if it's legal for men then it has to legal for women. To deny women this freedom yet give it to men violates their human rights. Breasts are first and foremost for nusrsing, it is society that has sexualized them. However don't come to Ontario hoping to see free range titties, most of us keep them covered up.

Never fear. The weather here will be turning into fall shortly and the bikini clad baristas will be at least confined to bringing their bikinis inside and not exposing themselves in public. The weather is too terrible for any real damage to be done by these ladies.

I live in Everett too at the Everett Naval Base. Yeah, these bikini stands are EVERYWHERE. If business is slow they'll come out of their stands and wave down cars and customers. It doesn't surprise me that they took things too far..they're really not that classy. But they do have fun names like Natte Latte, Grab and Go, and Some Like It Hot. Very original.
