Jon & Kate Ratings Keep Falling! Kids, Ready To Retire?

They might not have a choice, considering how badly the show has been doing the last several weeks.
Once the mega show of the TLC network (thanks to their tabloid shenanigans), Jon & Kate Plus Eight is now lacking its original draw of a happy family and/or the tabloid drama. So, it's ratings are tanking!
As of its latest airing this week, the show hit its all-time low, attracting just 1.714 million viewers. (10.6 million people tuned in to see Jon and Kate Gosselin announce they were getting a divorce.)
We think it's time to put this one to bed,folks and let the kids live out of the spotlight for awhile. Well, as much as a group of 8 children can who grew up in front of America's eyes and have media-whoring parents!

It would be a good show if it wasn't so staged. It seems like every week its more about Kate planning some outing or taking a trip with the kids & not the everyday goings on. So I think people aren't finding it to be relatable.

What made it once watchable is now gone. Now it's contrived and fake. Those children would be better off out of the spotlight at this point. Too bad their parents are addicted to it and put their needs over those of the children.

her talk show will fail, he obviously can't do anything and they will both file for bankrupcy in about 2 years, doushy husband will be asked to do celebrity fit club and kate will go on dancing with the stars.
Oh and at least 5 of the kids will be on celebrity rehab in about 9 years.

Kate is a fake ass bitch who people WITH a BRAIN cant stand.Jon isnt the cats meow,but he was REAL when it came to the kids.They werent little machines to him…he didnt play up to the camera like kate does now,trying to prove shes a "real" mom.
The paps caught JON. It IS his fault. Kate is working her ass off. She had 2 speaking engagements this month for woman's groups. She co-hosted The View 3 days and shot the pilot for Paula's show. Kate's new cookbook will come out soon and her design for the children's clothes line with Healthtex, is on hold but will come to stores AFTER the divorce is over. I hope Paula Deen's show does well and Kate keeps that job. Paula is a good role model for Kate. She was a struggling divorced mom who built a mult million dollar empire. I love my Paula Deen old fashioned perk coffee pot. LOL. I would like to see Kate and the kids, NO JON, do a show 4 times a year featuring what they do for each season, summer, fall, winter,spring. Four specials a year would be perfect.
She is just milking this for all the money she can get (Kate) she knows they 'Jumped the shark' and her 15 minutes are almost up, then what is she suppose to do? get a REAL job?
What is going to be really funny, When the kids grow up and write books and appear on talk shows and tell their side of what really happened.
To be fair, they have been bumped several times for Cake Boss and the car bake off show on holiday weekends. Also, some of the shows, have been re-runs. The few new ones, I liked Kate at the beach,on the ship tour with the boys, and on the dude ranch with the boys. BUT JON FAILED when trying to relate to his girls. He took the twins to a climbing sports complex and Maddy is AFRAID of heights.Little Maddy just sat at a table with nothing to do and waited for Daddy and Cara to finish. Cara was too short to do all the courses. He then took them to an ADULT bumper car ride and both girls were too little to drive the cars. JON ENJOYED driving the bumper cars. Jon is into JON. On the fishing show, Jon was CRUEL and lost his temper with one of the little boys. If I see the show and Jon is with the kids I want to shake him for his immature behavior. I enjoy the shows where Kate interacts with all of her children. Kate loves motherhood. Jon hates fatherhood. Jon wants to be a single playboy. He only comes home to film and collect his paycheck. Ratings will continue to drop if Jon is left on the show by TLC
Ah hah!!!! Everyone be strong- do not watch this fake show!!! I am so glad, I hope TLC doesn't waste any time and cancel it! Now these kids can live a "normal" life that doesn't include 5 beach trips a year, a trip to Aspen, Disneyworld and parents who talk to the cameras instead of to them….Team 8!!

I agree - everyday life would be better, my entertaining than the wierd "outings".
But I must admit, guiltily, that half the reason I watched the show was to see the shocking way they talked to each other - the bickering that went on between Jon and Kate. I couldn't believe that they could be like THAT and be married! Kate ridiculed Jon,she talked to him like he was a moron, he would role his eyes at her. It was like a car careening wildly out of control that somehow wasn't crashing - amazing, fascinating. And they were like: everythings fine!
Now the car has crashed and it`s kinda sad and boring. I`m done with that show.

Why do you think Kate is trying to do a talk show now? She knows this show is going to be shelved so she is looking to try her hand at something else to stay in the public eye.
