Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

Eww. He needs sultrier, bigger lips. His flat, crappy lips ruin it. There have been some fabulous drag queens played by some pretty great actors, Leguizamo being one of them! Remember the film To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar? Law should have taken some tips from him, Wesley Snipes, the late Patrick Swayze from that film, and more recent great drag queens were Chiwitel Ejiofor, Cillian Murphy and Gael Garcia Bernal (who looked just like Julia Roberts). But the movie looks pretty interesting.
i hate his guts, he is nothing but a cheap slut and he needs to go away for good.
hmmm … with this kind of a line up I would think I would be at least intrigued… but I'm not for some reason. I found this to drag on forever and the attempt at shock with Jude in drag didn't work… although the Russian accent was cute as hell
One thing I will say, I hope I look even half as beautiful as Judy Dench when I'm her age… WOW.
