the movie looks great, but the original freddy was way scarier.
Think it looks pretty aewsome but I agree, not sure if it'll be the same without Robert Englund. Not sure if Jackie Earle Haley can pull it off. He's a good actor but it's kinda odd to see someone else as Freddy.

FUCKING WEAK!!!!! Voice is way horrible, makeup is even worse, seriously it looks like some bullshit. Even the little girls singing the song sound wrong. Wrong Wrong Wrong. This movie is going to fucking blow harder than Perez does. Wish fucking Hollywood would leave the cult classics alone, stop fucking ruining a great franchise with remakes.
The people saying it looks good are probably young ass teens that weren't even born when the original came out. I'm really surprised Wes Craven gave the rights to this shitastic movie.

Wow this looks ridiculous, the voice isnt even close to what the REAL freddy sounds like, and even from the 10 second glimpse you get to see of his face, it doesnt even look close to the real one, its sad that people have to take old horror flims to try and re make them to something better, when all there really doing is ruining it.. nothing will ever be the original movies there to classic. i will not be going to see this, if i want to watch Nightmare On Elm Street, I'll watch the real one.

Love The Nightmare trilogy. And this one has cutie Kyle Gallner. I dunno, they should of gotten Robert Englund as Freddy Kruger. But give the new guy a chance. Those who think negative of the trailer will end up seeing the movie. I know I'm going to see it.
If they are gonna do a remake of a movie, they can hardly use the same actors, otherwise what would be the point of the remake??? a few changes here and there hardly make a difference… without Robert Englund it is just not a freddy kruger movie.
