We're sure both Kate Gosselin is thrilled with this news!
TLC made a shocking announcement this morning that as of November 2, Jon will no longer be appearing on Jon And Kate Plus 8 and the show will be changed to simply Kate Plus 8!
Now Jon won't have to rush back from trips and appearances to hang out with his kids to film and Kate essentially has her very own show.
A source close to the show says: “Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on."
Wonder if the Paula Deen show is still in the works for Kate?

You obviously didn't read the statment from TLC correctly. They didn't FIRE HIM and he will STILL CONTINUE TO BE ON THE SHOW. He's just not going to be on as much and the focus will be more on Kate. he will still be involved though. Typical for you to rewrite the story incorrectly though.
Personally I think they shoudl just cancel the whole damn thing. Its not the same show under the same premises it started as. But then they wouldn't be making large amounts of $$ now would they?

Raising one child without the help of your husband is tough I cannot imagine 8 running around without help and Jon was never very helpful i would yell and get angry with him too.

My kids were thrilled!!!!!! Jon creeped them out beyond belief…everything they think a dad is NOT.We will so enjoy the show without him. If he tries to delay the divorce so he can get more of a cut of her earnings (that he can't earn himself b/c noone wants to see him) it will be even more obvious why Kate had to treat him like a baby all the time- his is one! Be a man- get your own job! Hey, you can even audition for the Bachelor, or Big Brother or something similar which is more your speed…Good BYE!

I so agree with you. I too thought that Kate was out of line but now, it is so plain why she responded in the manner in which she did. Jon ALWAYS acted like he was mad and didn't have a kind tone or word to Kate. So many times, Kate had to pull him back from his playing to help with the kids. He was so cold and non-caring to everyone.
