More Trouble For The Quaids

Things just keep getting worse and worse for these two!
Randy and Evi Quaid were remodeling their only piece of property in Marfa, Texas, a converted warehouse, but a Cease and Desist sign has been placed out front because the twosome failed to get the proper construction permits from the city.
How are they paying for these renovations?
Apparently Randy gets a sizable check for about half a million dollars every August in residuals, most likely for airings of CaddyShack or the National Lampoon movies.
That's a pretty decent sum of cash.
So remind us why they couldn't pay the hotel bills?

randy quaid was in CADDYSHACK 2, the worst sequel ever.
He’s always been one of my favorite actors. His character in ‘Lampoon’s has always been one of my favorites. Life imitating art? I hope he gets back to making movies, when and if he gets beyond the crazzzy!
