I really pray for his family, but is that accidental when you take all that in a day?

He did not accidentally take all these drugs. I don't believe that he intended to die, but when you put all these things into your body the chances are high that you will die. Such a tragic loss.

Maybe he didn't intend to kill himself, but come on, anyone doing THAT much drugs at once must know the risks. Kids, don't do drugs or you'll end up like him!

Accidental Death. They found all that crap in his system! Doctors, Doctors, Doctors. He was a DIPSHIT ANYWAYS. HE SHOULD HAVE JUST DIED IN THAT PLANE CRASH! He should have thought about his family before he took all those drugs!!

With all of those drugs in his system, I don't know how they would be able to determine whether it was an accident or not, unless he just had 1 pill of each drug in his system. I'm really sorry he's gone and my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, who I know have really been hit hard by his death. Re: like!!!COLON!!! whatever! – a drug used to cut cocaine is what coke dealers do in order to 1) decrease the strength of the cocaine or 2) to stretch out the amount of coke so that when they weigh a gram bag of it, it still weighs out correctly, but it isn't all cocaine. It's a trick of the trade that they use so they can make more money. Which tells me the crack DJ AM was smoking was probably not all that great…

All of you people making negative, disrespectful comments are either very immature or have never had to deal with someone in your life who has an addiction. There are an awful lot of Pollyyannas here making comments who must lead perfect lives and have never done anything wrong or had problems that they didn't know how to deal with. How many of you who are casting stones participate in binge-drinking at week-ends, or engage in other equally stupid activities? Unless you are a monk or a nun and live a perfectly pristine lifestyle, you are in no position to judge an addict.

The reason why they are able to label this "accidental" would be because of the amounts of each drug that showed up in the toxicology report. Even if there are trace amounts, each drug is still listed. We don't KNOW how much of each drug was found, so yes, it's possible for this to be accidental. If he has massive amounts of each drug, then that is where it could be ruled a suicide (ie - he took handfuls of each drug purposefully trying to kill himself).

Granulocytes are part of the innate, somewhat non specific infection-fighting immune system. They do not respond exclusively to specific antigens, as do B-cells and T-cells.

Re: la poopsiekins – I have to respectfully disagree. Surprisingly, MOST suicides do not leave notes. It's not like on CSI. So, a lack of a note doesn't really mean much here. But the fact that he ingested enough to kill a herd of ponies, blocked doorways to his condo with mirrors so no one could get in and had photos laying around that he was depressed over…..that seems like a very simple case of suicide to me.

Sorry, unless someone is actually holding you down and putting cocaine in your body, a death that is related to it is NOT accidental. Look at that list of fucking drugs. NOT accidental. No one takes all of those drugs unless he or she WANTS death more than life. People who don't want death don't do illegal drugs or take prescriptions incorrectly. End of story. Typical Hollywood loser "tragedy". Boo fucking hoo.

I do believe it was suicide though, just because of the way he was found… and the things in his room. I do think he knew that mixing those drugs would be fatal, and that is why he went through with it. He knew… he had to know.
Its so unfortunate that he didn't get the help he needed.

Agreed with your point of being in the limelight open's the door to the more judgment and ridicule than the "average" person, I just don't get why people judge others ("celebs") to the point of blatant disrespect for a human life as though they have never made a mistake or wrong decision. Like I said, it doesn't matter what he did, or how he died - to the people that cared about him - from family members to fans, he's still gone. Celebrity or not.
I'm aware a lot of readers here aren't as ed-ju-ma-cated as others, but I would think common decency should kick in once in a while and make people think before they speak/write….that's all.

As to the legal determination of accident vs. suicide there are many variables that are to be taken into account. Although the quantity of types of drugs was high (although not unusual with addicts) they may have been in relatively small doses. This mix may have worked for him 11 years ago but overwhelmed his sober body today. Things like bottles mostly full and even the absence of a note (although not definitive) may have lead investigators in the accidental direction. Other things may have lead to a suicide verdict (including a past suicide attempt he made with a gun). It may have been a 50/50 and they erred on the side of accidental to comfort the family (insurance does not come with suicide, also note). In any case idiots should not judge lest they be judged about his addiction.

This is NOT an accidental death. With all the media coverage about the dangers of combining these drugs together, he should have known better!! Yet, a lot of people think that just because certain drugs come from doctors who don't cross-check with your other prescriptions, everything will be fine. He had WAY too much in his system and I don't understand how he could be ignorant of it. I say it's death by turning a blind eye to his drug usage, and to me, that's not an accident.
