Women Sue Dr. Phil For Going To His Show!

We would too, except these ladies wanted to see Dr. Phil.
Five women are suing the "doctor" after they were involved in a crash while en route to his show almost 2 years ago.
What took them so long?
Back in December 2007, the Dr. Phil show chartered a bus for members of a Ventura County mothers group to come to a taping of the show. Unfortunately, while en route to the doc's studio the bus crashed.
Oops.
In the lawsuit filed with L.A. County Superior Court, the women claim that the bus' brakes "failed and lost power, making the bus unable to stop", causing it to collide with "another vehicle, two concrete curbs, an iron fence and two trees".
Ouch!
From the crash, 17 were injured but only 5 are suing for negligently hiring a bad bus. In addition to suing the show's production company Peteski Productions, they're also going after the bus company, Bus America, and the bus driver.
Why not sue the other car involved for being on the road, while you're at it?
The ladies are suing for unspecified damages.
With all the employees he's canned, we're sure there's some money lying around to take care of this little problem!

Why the hell are they suing the driver?! Not like he cut the brakes before he hopped in. He crashed too. Duh.

Another frivolous lawsuit by money hungry people. If we had Britain's system where the person who loses the case has to pay all court costs perhaps this sort of thing would stop in this country.

I'm going to file this one under "FUCKTARDS" right next to the case where the lady sued McD's because the HOT COFFEE she ordered was too hot and burned her. Yet another bullshit, frivolous lawsuit!!

Ok, let's milk this for all it is worth. Sue the cement makers of the curbs, the Iron Workers union and of course the Arbor Society, those F#@%$rs are always putting trees where the don't belong. While their at it why not their own families for allowing the trip or better yet each other for encouraging each other to go, there I think that covers it….oh and the Auto Industry for the other vehcl.

This is ridiculous. I may not like Dr. Phil any more than the next person, but its not HIS fault the brakes failed. That is purely on the company who ownes the buses. They are supposed to provide safety to the customers who rent their buses. These chicks just think they can get more $$ from the production company than the bus company.
See, now this is the type of frivilous lawsuit that has the entire US judicial system clogged. This is the crap that leads to higher insurance premiums, because whenever a suit is filed or a claim is made, the insurance company is obliged to defend their insured… no matter how RIDICULOUS the claim. These women should have to pay Dr. Phil's legal expenses for even mentioning him in their lawsuit.
Never going to happen and what if they were on this bus to go to the mall would they sue the mall??? Dumb a**es is what they are!
Give me a break! Like Dr. Phil is responsible for the bus having bad brakes. Nobody is responsible except the bus company for not maintaining their buses properly. Money-hungry bitches!
