DMX Taking It To The Ring

After maintaining a low profile since his release from jail in May, rapper DMX is giving Mixed Martial Arts a try.
X is going head to head in the ring with Eric Martinez, CEO of Power Moves Entertainment and the rapper's current representation.
Interesting career move?
The fight is taking place on December 12 at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center.
Hope he fares better than Jose Canseco!

Saw X in Walmart in N. Scottsdale a month or so ago with a lady who appeard p-d off…he seemed pretty…umm jittery and shakey and scatterbrained while posing for pics with walmart employees…and buying cigarettes with a $100 bill. it was funny and sad at the same time. He was very polite to everyone, but ironically kept saying "God Bless" and "look for the new album soon" LOL! Good luck on your new venture X.

Pssss this is not good. I have been following MMA since before the UFC existed and Boxing too. Seems to me that these guys do not see MMA as a serious sport. It is not just some guys in the Octagon hugging it out haha. Most of the fighters are highly skilled in many disciplines. In the early 90's they might of had a chance but today these entertainers are all in for an embarrassing moment. I feel a bit insulted for MMA and the fighters.
Love his music and his movies! He's a very talented person and I hope things work out for him!
