New Recordings & Book Reveals MJ's Heartbreak With Lisa Marie
No one in Michael Jackson's life, it seems, is exempt from attempting to garner a little attention through their association with him.
Now, even his spiritual leaders are cashing in. Rabbi Shmuley Boteach looked after MJ's spiritual guidance for about two years, before they had a falling out. We're guessing that MJ felt he couldn't trust the guy.
Rightfully so!
The Rabbi has come forward with recorded conversations between himself and Michael (he claims he got permission to do so) and some revelations have come to light because of them, including Michael's struggle with his former wife, Lisa Marie Presley.
During their time together, Michael very adamantly wanted to children, but to his dismay, Lisa did not.
During one of his talks with the Rabbi, he revealed:
"I wanted children and she didn't…She promised me before we married that the first thing we would do was have children. I was brokenhearted…I walked around all the time holding these little baby dolls, and I'd be crying. That's how badly I wanted it, you know … I was determined to have children."
Then, another explosive revelation comes to light through their taped conversations as Michael admits that Lisa desperately tried to reconcile with him, again promising to give him children, if that was what it took.
MJ was quoted from the tapes saying:
"After we got divorced, she would hang out with my mother all the time. I have all these letters she sent: 'I'll give you nine children. I'll do whatever you want.' And, of course, the press doesn't know of these stories. And she just tried for months and months, and I became too hardhearted at that point. I had closed my mind on the whole situation."

I agree that this is kind of sleazy to do in releasing the contents of the tapes (whatever happened to confidentialty even if you claim to have permission). But I also notice that you accepted advertising money from the book company to promote this book…so if you are going to take the moral high ground on this, you probably should have refused the $ from the book publisher to advertise on your site. Just sends a mixed message.

Well, maybe it was because at the time, she already had 2 young children. Maybe Lisa was overwhelmed with the thought of having to take care of more, plus Michael, who wasn't all that stable mentally and emotionally. That was when his perscription drug use was heavy. She loved him very much, Im sure that she wanted to, but probably felt that he wasn't ready.
This Shmuley guy is maybe the most disgusting one to profit from Michael's death. I saw the dateline about these tapes and was appalled and extremely disappointed that Shmuley was not questioned in depth about his motivation to release these tapes. If you had permission then why did you wait until Michael died? The tapes end waaaaayy before his death. I would not be surprised at all if someone from the Jackson family sues this guy. This is DISGUSTING. I really hope he does not make a lot of money off of this.

I bought the book. Not because Shmuley has been all around promoting it and acting as if him and Michael were still on good terms…. I bought it because I loved listening to what Michael had to say. Michael was a very intelligent person and some didn't realise how comical and honest he was as well. I can't wait until I get to the part in the book when Michael talks about when him and Madonna went out to dinner. Some kids came up to their table and was like "Wow, it's Madonna and Michael Jackson, can we get your autograph?" and Madonna was like "Get away kids!" or something like that and Michael said "Don't speak to children like that!" and Madonna goes "Shut Up!" and Michael says "No, You shut up!" he says that was how he had to talk to her at times. lol I would have loved to hear their conversations and I actually will get to hear some of it in this book
However, I do wish the money that I spent on this book went directly to Michael's estate.

Michael befriended children because unlike adults they were the one's who didn't try to use/abuse him for personal gain.
