Nike Denies Signing Vick!

After reports that Michael Vick signed an endorsement deal with Nike, the sportswear company are vehemently denying those allegations.
"Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick. We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike," claims a spokeswoman for the retailer.
So, he can wear their stuff, but they're not paying him to do it?!
Maybe they should wait till he's officially rehabilitated before they start giving him a wardrobe!!

Well it's a good thing they're not representing him because that would make me lose all respect for that company. However, they're not going to deny him as a customer perez, because of his personal decisions, so get over it if he wears their clothes.
Perez how much more rehabilitated does he have to be. He seems sincere that he regrets his actions and has certainly taken responsibility for it. As for all the people who continue to judge him grow up we have all made mistakes some bigger than others but we have all made bad decisions and truly regretted our actions maybe not at that level but regardless it is life we make mistakes and hopefully more times than not we learn from them and grow from them so grow up and forgive the man just like you would want to be forgiven.

Do you hold the same standards for someone who committed vehicular manslaughter? What if it was a car accident where someone ran a red light. Would you feel bad for them? I don't care how much time this guy has done - I will never look at him the same. Anyone that could do what he did has something seriously wrong inside and it takes more than a few months in the slammer to rectify something that depraved.

I just contacted Nike and was told that they are "supplying product" to him all right. In fact, they are "supplying" free product to him, which is as close as you can get to endorsing a product w/o being in volved in ad campaigns.
He has served his time, lets get over it.

And besides, it still makes Nike look better to have more players on the field wearing their product. And it never said that he was under contract with Nike, but that they have a deal. Meaning, they give him stuff. He plays in it.

It seems a lot of people are upset with the money aspect of what he makes. If people on here were as talented as he was, you probably wouldn't sing the same tune.
