Sperminated!

A rep for Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi has confirmed that she is pregnant!

This is particularly joyous news as she has been diagnosed with endometriosis, which makes it very difficult to conceive.

The baby's father has not been announced.

She gets off WAYYYYYY too easy for getting knocked up and not confirming the father!! Besides I know way too much about her sex life…walls are thin in manhattan buildings is all i'm gonna say!
Then again she does host top chef, perez is fat and likes food, that's why he's being so kind to padma. Nothing to do with her, it's her affiliation to food that makes perez like her!

Booo! I have endometriosis and I have already had surgery for it once. I don't like hearing about how difficult or "impossible" it will be to get pregnant. The only thing I have ever wanted is children. So while I am happy for Padma…this story makes me kind of sad.

I don't know why people say that it's difficult to conceive because of endo - which i have too… i know many other women with it who have had kids with no difficulty… i hate kids, so i've never tried

Gattuch, there isn't any reason to worry. I have endometriosis, had surgery for it in my mid 20's, and when I wanted to get pregnant had no problem–2x. I know lots of people with it and I know no one who was infertile from it–some took longer to get prego but nothing major. It can lead to problems but not definitively and from anecdotal evidence at least seems minor compared to other potential infertility issues.

Thank you for the positive comments…I appreciate them. I have heard mixed opinions on it, even with different Dr.'s. It's nice to hear from people with actual experience, it's more comforting that speculations from hearsay.
