His mother would be proud.

Redmond O'Neal, son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett, had a status hearing yesterday to discuss with the court how his move from prison to a rehab facility was going. He assure everyone that he is doing "very well."

As part of his probation, he will be required to give another update on November 17th.

We're glad to hear he is better. Here's hoping it stays that way!

If anything could sober a person up, you'd think it'd be the death of a mumsy. I, for one, love my mumsy and will be a tortured sod when she leaves us.

That's great news on Redmond! Hope he doesn't follow in his dads footsteps when he released. Hope he gets as far away from his dad as possble. sab1989, if Palins book is selling, it's because of her strange followers buying it up. No normal person wants anything to do with it.

I like that HUGE red zit on his chin.

he's doing well, and Patrick Swayze was doing well..oh, and Michael Jackson told everyone he had no surgery on his face and never used drugs…..

but what chance did this kid EVER have, really, from the moment he splurted out? He had no chance at all.

The faster Redmond learns that you have to cover your own ass cuz nobody else will the better.
He is an adult now and can do whatever he wants. He does not have to listen to anybody. He is essentially on his own.
Hopefully he will go forward and not be a part of the dysfunctional enabling that goes on in family's living with substance abuse.
Hopefully he has obtained some insight into things by some skilled professionals so that he can dodge the many curve balls he will face. My heart goes out to him.

He should get out of LA

  10. 10

He should go to school somewhere other than LA and get skilled in something that will provide him with meaningful work.
Focus on what you can give rather than what has been taken away.

If he's doing it for his mom, he'll never get sober. He has to do it for himself.

send him off with Angelina to visit the people who have real problems and suffering around the world and are struggling every day to survive in miserable conditions - then he would appreciate life and his health - he should live the best life he can in honor of his mom
