After Jon's accusatory and desperate attempt to shut down production of Kate Plus 8, TLC has fired back claiming that the allegations brought against them are all lies!
Oh, and that he's a selfish dick!
The network states:
"We are aware of Jon Gosselin's recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic. Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents."

Jon has decided that his children should no longer be filmed. I applaud him. Jon is the father of those children and he decided that filming of his kids stops now. I don't care if he's getting back at his soon-to-be ex wife and TLC, the fact is that he's doing what is right for HIS children. Better late than never! Thank you, Jon, for doing what is right for your kids whatever your reasons for doing so.

I love those kids, they are so cute. But I agree that the show ending is probably the best thing for them right now. It does seem like Jon had only selfish intentions when he started this whole ordeal, but perhaps something good can come out of it. They are all still fairly young, maybe if the parents keep their mouths shut and stop doing interviews with the tabloids, they will have a chance at a normal childhood.

The show should be stopped…First TLC exploits the children and family for ratings…which helps to destroy the marriage…Then they try to put a dipper wedge in a heavily splintered situation - by trying to separate the show out…What makes them think they have the right? Jon is a member of that family…the show doesn't take precedence over the necessary to heal…IMO oth Jon and Kate should take a permanent hiatus..and figure out the family - without the interference of TLC, Perez Hilton, and anyone else - they need to take care of their family and stop being so starved 4 attention!
