It's good news for Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig! Their play has just been crowned top-grossing Broadway play of all time!!!
Wow!
Their show, A Steady Rain, has brought in an astounding $1,167,954 tally in its first week. And it's still in the previews!
Congrats, fellas! We hope to get to see it the next time we're in town - if a seat is still available!

Oh my,
Here are those
mens again.
Tie me up
and let me spin
on those rods.
MMMMM… Hugh … nice neck !!
First comment!
Really? The "top-grossing Broadway play of all time?"
Do you pause for even a moment to think about what words actually *mean* when you type them out, or do you just smack your dong against the keyboard for a few seconds and hit the sparkly "post" button before you go back to jiggling Lady BlahBlah's tucked-up junk?
And let's face it, flubberguts, your seat will *always* be available.
Re: sarakins – you mean 3rd
I'd LOVE to be the FILLING in that sandwich!! YUMMY!!
Good for them. Good talent doesn't always make it in a business overcrowded with boring hacks. Hollywood needs to return to the days of talented beauties being talented beauties. Death to talentless hos being talentless hos. THUS SPAKETH ST-80!! Word.
mm, I would go see it just in hopes of a shirtless scene.
Not to suggest that the play isn't fab, but is tickets didn't cost what they cost these days, they probably wouldn't be breaking any records.
I saw him last week, both of them are amazing. I waited outside the stage door with like 100 other people and Daniel signed a lot of playbills. Hugh stayed for like 15 mintues give auotgraphs, taking pictures with people and shaking hands. He is so incredibly nice. Really appreciated his audience.
Let's clarify: "A Steady Rain" broke the record for highest grossing WEEK on a non-musical production. It broke a 4-year-old record set by Billy Crystal's one-man show.
A $1.1 million week for a play is amazing, but musicals still regularly beat that, even after running for years. "Wicked" (running almost 6 years now) and "Lion King" (open for 10+ years) are still out-grossing "Rain."
I'd pay money to watch Hugh Jackman sit in a chair.
wonder if the audience is about 98% women swooning???
Boy they sure do make a cute couple.
