All-American Rejects Temporarily Cancel Shows Due To Injury
After an unfortunate incident, the All-American Rejects have been forced to cancel this weekend's shows.
Lead singer Tyson Ritter performed last week while sitting in a wheel chair with a leg brace during the band's gig in Tampa, Florida.
But it looks like the pain is just too much and the band has canceled their next three upcoming shows.
The band's rep revealed that "Lead Singer Tyson Ritter sustained an injury while on tour and is taking necessary precautions for a speedy recovery."
They even posted the following message on their website yesterday, stating:
"The All-American Rejects are sorry to announce the cancellation of three upcoming show dates—two dates in support of Blink-182 and one headlining date in Atlantic City. Lead Singer Tyson Ritter sustained an injury while on tour and is taking necessary precautions for a speedy recovery.
The All-American Rejects will return to the stage stateside when they kick-off their co-headlining tour with Taking Back Sunday on November 3rd in East Lansing, Michigan."
No word yet on how the injury occurred, but sources report that Ritter announced during his show that he had knee surgery to remove a tumor.
However he got the leg brace, let's just hope he feels better soon!

I met Tyson a couple of nights before this show. He seemed fine, wasn't walking with a limp, and didn't mention anything about his knee…. He did however seem coked out of his mind. But hey, he was really nice to me!
He had surgery the very same day as he performed.
You MORON….they have already been canceling shows. They didn't show up for the show in Birmingham just this past Monday night w/ Fall Out Boy & Blink 182. Do you do any research?
um well they just skipped out of their performance in birmingham, al this past tuesday! managers told the audience all of AAR had the swine flu! LIES!
I glad they took time off. I saw them in Tampa and…well lets just say isn't wasn't their best show. I've seen them before 2 times and met the band before, Iwas pretty disapointed. I have to agree with sSkiles, Tyson was FUCKED up.
I was at the concert in Florida where that picture was taken. Tyson had a ninja-literally- in back of him holding him up. He told his audience he had a leg tumor removed. The poor guy kept falling regardless! GET BETTER TYSON

Boy a leg/possible bone tumor is some serious shit. I hope he gets better. I hope this is in no way a lie as again this is very serious and that kind of karma comes back to bite you in the ass. Best Wishes Tyson.
That picture is from West Palm… I was riightt there (: He did so good in West Palm Beach! I can't believe he even went on stage in that condition, even though he was completely fucked up on drugs or something. It's sad that they can't play the rest of the dates, but Tyson needs to focus on getting better. Love them(:

I saw them in West Palm, when he first sustained his "injury" and he was all drugged out. It was really cool that he performed though even though he was in so much pain. He stood the whole show though. He did have a ninja helping him.
