Jon Apologizes To Kate

Jon Gosselin has been making the media rounds since the announcement that he wants TLC to shut down Jon and Kate Plus 8. On an interview that is airing tonight on ET with Mary Hart, Jon apologizes to wife Kate Gosselin:
"Kate, I just want to apologize, you know for my actions. You know, I’m sorry, you know, that I was an avoider and I didn’t communicate properly. And now I have to take initiative, let’s both go together, let’s both mediate this thing out.”
All of these stunts he's pulling as of late are so transparent! We don't think he cares about Kate at all, but rather his own image. It's BS!
Jon continues, bringing up their 8 children:
“I mean they’re 5 and 8, but they understand tabloids, they understand paparazzi, they understand all that stuff. They know things that are always printed are not truth. … When the time is right as a father I’ll decide what I’m going to do with my kids, apologizing whys and what’s right to say. I mean, that’s why I am getting counseling and that’s why I have a great team because I don’t really know what to say to them that won’t hurt them or harm them in any way.”
Regardless of apologies, the kids are going to be hurt and really it's because of both parents. This divorce has gotten very messy and very public and will undoubtedly cause major emotional damage to all the children.
Even though we think Jon is a HUGE douchebag, it would probably be best for the kiddies if Jon and Kate could find some way to peacefully co-parent.
We're not sure how likely that is though, especially after all the shiz Jon has caused by his ridiculous behavior over the past few months!

Now that he sees the light (and his fans/$$$ fading away) he needs to focus on what's really important: HIS CHILDREN.

Perez, obviously you know nothing about children. They are pretty resilient. Granted, a lot of crap that has happened the last few months have been of the charts, but its not just about Jon doing this. Kate treated him like a 3rd class citizen in their own home. I just watched an old show this afternoon and she was harping on jon about everything. NAG Hag! I wouldn't be surprised if Jon and Kate get back together a year from now. Mark my words.

Like I said…..at least he's admitting to his mistakes and is trying. Bad that he has to do it so publicly, but I have a feeling neither one of them is talking to each other in any other way. I still believe this show should be cancelled so that they can work something out that is more beneficial to the kids. regardless of his past actions, he really doesn't want to hurt his kids. There are other ways they can continue to make $ without having those children on tv any longer.

No judge is going to take this clown seriously. I mean come on you want joint custody then why'd you move to another state? Why did you get a one bedroom apartment in another state? You can't even have any of your kids for an overnight stay cause they have no where to sleep. No judge is going to order Kate to leave the house for Jon to have his time with the kids. Jon is in LA today looking at million-plus $$ houses for himself and Hailey. He's promised her a job on his new Divorced Dad's show with creepy Lohan. He just needs to sever ties with TLC and the only way he thinks he can do that is to keep the kids from being filmed. Seriously, would anybody watch him in a new reality show? You know how Kate belittles and talks down to John and criticizes him? Well, you can bet she talks to her children that way too. That is her mode of communication and I am sure it does not stop with Jon.Also I don't think she is very nurturing or kind to her children either. I saw one episode where she threw one of the little boys special sleeping toy in the TRASH right in front of him because her sister in law let them chew gum against Kate's wishes and he got gum on his teddy bear. One of the twins came and pleaded for it back for him telling Kate "he is just a little boy. He didn't mean to get gum on it. It probably fell out while he was sleeping." The little girl comforted him until Kate took it back out of the trash and I think she said she would get the gum off. I really thought that was horrible. Those of you with kids know what I mean. Your kid leaves it somewhere and you drive miles to go and get it because they are inconsolable and it means the world to them. I was already appalled at the way she spoke to and treated her husband but this was the frosting on the cake for me. I could not stand to watch the show. I don't believe that the kids don't mind having camera's on them all the time. In some clips they are trying to slap the camera away from them or crying and cringing. I say the kids should be free now! They have money for college and Kate had plenty of book deals and t.v. spots and a show with Paula Dean.
Jon is $uffering now because the money is no longer coming his way! Back to the 9 to 5 job, job, fool.
P.S. We pugs are ashamed that Jon looks so much like us.

And further more, i am not a fan of the series but i think that canceling it right now might be a bad idea. The kids are going through a tough time right now with their parents and should have some normality in their lives. Now a camera crew following you all day long might not seem normal to us but to them it does and they probably want to have something in their lives they recognize. Canceling the show right now will only confuse them further. Kate has been surprisingly quiet throughout this and for that, she deserves a prize for not playing along to his song here.

JON slept with her at the home. Jon took the kids to the fence with him to speak and be near to total strangers. Jon got on national TV and said I despise Kate. Jon's behavior in France,Vegas, bars in PA & NYC brought the headlines in the papers. Kate works, takes kids to film, takes kids to play,runs errands and does her nails. Following her is boring.
