Jon Gosselin Keeps Spewing Bull!!!
We wonder who in their right mind takes this guy seriously? Every word that comes out of his mouth is complete nonsense!
Jon Gosselin was on Larry King Live last night and, as expected, it was a desperate attempt to appeal to America's sympathies by acting like a devoted father and apologetic husband. (He mentions that he tried calling Kate Gosselin a month ago, but she didn't want to talk to him. Wonder why?!) But while he didn't go on a full-scale Kate-irate attack, he didn't hold back with his feelings towards TLC.
Jon told Larry King that he stands by his claim that he was ready to quit and "pull the plug" on the show weeks before TLC canned his ass. Jon's lawyer was also present for the interview, backed Jon up, and insisted that the move to throw down the gauntlet with TLC was a long time coming and that Jon found out about his dismissal from the show the same as everyone else did - the Internet.
But the majority of the interview was spent hearing Jon refer to his concern for his children, calling the filming environment "unhealthy". As their father, he has every right to do so, but as Larry King points out (and Jon swiftly dodges discussing), it didn't seem too big of a deal when he was still apart of the show.
By the way, it was interesting to learn that Jon made $1 million being on the show. That is a whole lot of Ed Hardy shirts!
Hopefully, he has enough stashed away to pay this lawyer, as he was in breach of his TLC contract by appearing on Larry King and TLC announced this morning that they will be seeking legal action against him

I believe him. He stated at the end of season 4 that he didn't want to continue with the show, but Kate waved her hand in his face and said she did, so therefore they would be back. What Kate wants, Kate gets. I don't understand why it was ok for Kate to appear on LKL, but Jon isn't allowed to? Doesn't seem right. Either way, they both need to stop the show and let the kids get on with a normal life. And yes, they CAN support the kids with regular jobs, just like the rest of America does! She's a nurse ffs. A lot of ppl raise the same amount of kids on less.

I think he is sincere. His lawyer even said they gave TLC notice on Sept. 25 that Jon wanted to stop filming. It seems to me that once TLC found that out they found a way to get Jon out of the show. I am so tired of everyone bashing Jon. What has he really done wrong other than stay in an abusive relationship? Seriously, Kate verbally abused him practically every episode. She did it on national television and in front of her children. If he spoke to her that way the show would have been off the air a long time ago. Why was she allowed to go on Larry King? i admit, i did watch the show and jon did voice concerns about the show and its affects on the children. it is strange that a couple of days ago he tried to slow his divorce with his wife and he gets sacked by tlc the day before he sues.. perhaps tlc knew he was going to try to halt production and fired him just before the legal action to smear jon so they can keep their highly unethical show going? it seems like something is up.

So JON is the one listening to HIS children. Not off on a media tour… as for a job, he was making well over $200k a year before all this. I've been watching Jon & Kate Plus 8 from the get-go…loved LOVED watching the adorable kids (minus Maddy)… I got my family, friends, even my boyfriend hooked on the show…and they sometimes tell me how I remind them of Kate on certain occasions. I'm all up for Team Jon. I stopped watching when they announced their divorce, it just wasn't the same. For one to truly understand, you really need to watch from the very first episode of the first season…so get busy!
I think Larry King was not well prepared for this interview. He asked twice when the new Kate plus eight show was going to air and did not ask Jon to give examples of how he thinks the show is bad for his family. Larry also called aunt Jody Kate's sister…..I also wanted to know what Jon regretted and what he meant by wanting a reconciliation with Kate. 1. Jon said "the Gosselin" family made $1M before taxes for last years taping.
2. He explained why he feels it is no longer healthy for his children. Their parents divorce is being played out in the tabloids. He also said that some of his children have voiced their dislike of taping.
3. While Kate travelled for work for two years, he was home with the kids. He apologized for the screw-ups since the seperation. We are all human.
4. TLC doesn't care about "the kids". Like it or not, as their father Jon has a right to demand the show stop. TLC sent out a statement one time that said "if Jon OR Kate wanted to stop taping we would". Ok, he says he wants to stop….are they going to stop? Um..no…
5. Kate JUST made up a trust for the kids college. Four years of taping and when the shit hits the fan she finally starts a trust? Yeah, she is all about the kids.
BOTH of them have made bad decisions and have lied. TLC has lied. At this point I agree with Jon ….. let the kids have a normal childhood.

You know, I watched this interview last night and while I think Jon has made A LOT of mistakes in the past, I happen to think that this is one decision that he is right in making. The whole premise of their show fell apart when they announced they were divorcing. That right there should have ended it so they could then focus on the kids and how they woudl parent separately. Instead, they kept milking that cow. I wonder why Kate is going to fight so hard to keep those kids on tv. Money of course! And yes, you can say that they have been filming for 5 years..why now? Well once the medis shit storm hit the fan, they couldn't control it. And think about it….these kids are starting school now! The first 5 years, you can protect them and keep them secluded from everything else. Once they start public school though, you don't think those kids will start hearing about their family from the other kids? Of course they will!
I sincerely believe that Jon wants to do the right thing and what he said makes me believe it. "We need to work this out together, without the media, to figure out how to we can raisse our children and be friends again". That shows a lot more class right now to me than her running off on talk shows, book tours, etc. I think Jon has really gotten a raw deal on a lot of this. She has always been a bitch….all the past shows prove it. And he was right when he said he was a coward and never fought for his right to things. Now, he realizes that he has to make better choices for his family and one of the first things is to get rid of the show. I applaud him for that. And for everyone who is still on that bitch's side…to each his own. How much are YOUR kids worth? Would you sell them out on tv for more $$? I know I wouldn't. You bring a camera into your life and it shatters the life you had. Children should never be used to make $ for their families. That's the parents job to do on their own.

Perez I adore you but PLEASE…The spin is on, please go backwards with those pedals..Remember the "exoplosive" end of season (last) when they moved, GO BACK get the clip of John explaining how he was not sure if he would continue on with the show, as Kate shoved it right back down his throat saying, "John is not comfortable with all the press related to this show, but he will get over it." (that was no word for word)….John has FINALLY hired GREAT legal counsel, and getting those children out of the public world is the MOST important thing for them (as well is having two parents who work together raising them, divorced or married)! Let's not spin this anymore, PLEASE remember that nobody is perfect and when we look at Jon EVERYONE can tell he has not been prepped the way KATE has been. TLC/DISCOVERY LLC. have taken Kate under their wings, have educated her, have been protecting her AND THEY HAVE RAPED THIS FAMILY OF a marriage, MILLIONS of $$$ and have used them in anyway they could. Kate WILL sharpen up, and I know from inside sources that she will be onboard with Jon sooner than anyone imagined. JON IS FULL OF IT!!! If it wasn't for his children that love his sorry ass, it would be funny. I worry about them in his care. He is irrational. I saw him be so mean and cruel to one of his little sons when filming the fishing show a few weeks ago. If Jon is that way while knowing he is being filmed, how is Jon acting behind closed doors?? You know there are a ton of comments saying well what else is he going to do to support his kids, he needs TLC. I say BULLSHIT! What the hell do you think he was doing BEFORE the cameras? He obviously made good money for their fertility treatments! There is no justifiable excuse to continue filming those kids only for the sake of $. Honestly, I'm ashamed of all you people suggesting it as well. TLC is not innocent in this either. They didn't legally change the show name, they didn't get permission from Jon, they tried to drop him to capitalize on her. Not cool at all!
