Kate's Lawyer To Jon: Suck It!
There's no turning back now! The gloves are off and now everyone has a lawyer to speak their minds.
While Jon Gosselin dragged his on to Larry King Live last night to make sure that Jon's arguments sounded valid and sincere (they didn't, but we digress), Kate Gosselin's representation has come forward and was on the Today show to put the slam down on Jon. He appeared on the show alone, since Kate had to care for the children.
You remember doing that, don't you Jon?
Kate's lawyer, Mark Momjian, first and foremost, would like jon to know that the chances of him halting the production of their reality show all together is unlikely:
"These parties entered into an agreement once the divorce action was filed that allowed each parent - who had physical custody of the children - to make the filming decisions when the children were with them. When the children are with Kate, Jon agreed that Kate would make the filming decisions involving the kids."
And since the show has been renamed Kate Plus Eight, we think it is better that way! Mark was also asked about Kate and her relationship with her estranged husband and he admits that she "really does want to engage Jon, it's just that he's not engaging her back. And that's really regrettable in any custody case."
That we don't much believe. She puts on a good front for the cameras, which we commend her for, but behind the scenes, we are sure she is a bitter bitch in terms of Jon.
Mark reveals that Kate has every intention to continue on with the show as long as TLC wants and as for Jon and his "epiphany" about unhealthy this lifestyle is for his kids:
"This is less about a change of heart and more about a change of strategy on Jon's part."
We couldn't agree more.

I watched enough of the show to know for sure that Jon didn't love it, and seemed to want to stop it. He even said so, but Kate (the witch) indicated that they all loved being on the show.

Yeah…as long as TLC wants. That tells you a lot about her right there. She didn't have the trusts set up until they were forced to when the PA system got involved. This is not good for them or healthy and anyone who thinks it is is seriously just as fucked up in the head as Kate is. If they continue with the show, I hope he takes them to court, sues their asses AND the ratings are so bad no one watches it. Any thinking person of logic can understand that being in the public eye during what is a very bitter divorce is NOT what's best for small kids. Jon is right regardless of his motives. Jon wanted to stop the show 2 seasons ago. Kate was the one pushing the show. The kids need some privacy. Its time to cancel the show, if Kate wants some career, then she could do that, leave the kids out of it. Its not making her look good either.
the only problem with that is if TLC has made kate plus 8 a "new" show, then all previous agreements are off the table, which is what his lawyer implied. the "new" show could require the kids to take a "vacation" out of state, and he can stop that. he is also joint owner of the home, and as such could possibly keep them out of there. if the show turns into her just dragging the kids around from place to place, it will not last long. this will not alter their custody agreement, so he will still have the kids, at the house, like he does now. it seems like that will no longer be filmed, if anything will be from now on. he could make a case in court, which would bring a family court judge into the picture. that may not be a good thing for kate, since the children will likely be interviewed, and if any don't want to continue (as I have heard a few don't) the show is done. as a side, I always found it funny how the "octo" mom was dumped on for having 8 embryo's implanted and had some choice words for her doctor. seems everyone wants to gloss over the fact that kate had 6 implanted, after already having 2 daughters. the term double standard comes to mind. in the end, it is still sad that those little kids were turned into a business, and no one tried to stop it.
Jon is a slimy opportunist who is only trying to remove himself from TLC so he can go ahead and start filming that new show with equally slimy Lohan. Since TLC wouldn't let him go, his only recourse is to force them to stop filming Kate and the kids. He's already house hunting today in LA, and plans to move out there right away.
Why is it always love Jon, hate Kate or vice versa? This isn't a contest. IMO both of these people need to clean up their acts for the sake of the kids.

u know, when the show first came out, i felt bad for jon b/c kate was always talking down to him and ordering him around but now that we've been able to see what kind of a person he really is, i can understand why kate treated him that way. he is too old and stupid to be behaving the way he does and i it shows that his kids are more mature than he is. he needs a woman like kate to keep him in line (not that i wish that they would get back together b/c no one should be affiliated with jon "the loser" gosselin)

Actually, Kate was not home taking care of her kids while Jon was on CNN acting a fool. She was in Pittsburgh, eating at PF changs then taking the twins to the Taylor Swift concert. Her boyfriend/bodyguard was carrying her purse.

I love how you negative assholes think it is okay to tell someone else what is best for their kids. What if someone told you what was best for your kids? Jon was very clear that this was not hurting his kids, that the production crew was like family and that the kids love the camera and when asked if he really felt that way by Larry King he said he did mean it and it was true. Jon also said that one day TLC wanted the kids to do one thing but they wanted to swim and that is just what they did. Nobody is making them work and if they don't want to be on camera, they don't have to be. For this they get a fund set up for them and wonderful trips including educational trips. They also get one-on-one time with their mom which they wouldn't get if she had to work 10 hours a day as a nurse and not have enough energy for them when she got home. Just because you hear someone on tv say something about the "poor kids are going to suffer" doesn't mean you need to join the bandwagon. Jon is the only one hurting those kids. He is the only one who brought the paparazzi into their life. Kate puts them first always. If your not just stuck on being a hater, you will see this is the truth.

Absolutely agree. The only reason there is any paparazzi is due to Jon's horrendous behavior. If it were a regular old divorce and Jon did not have an adolescent crisis there would not be a problem. I also don't believe the show had any thing to do with this, if anything the money and fame postponed his crisis. Re: Keelie – i seem to remember a littel high school biology, and i don't remember women having 6 eggs produced per month. it was done in a dish (she probably wasn't having sex with him) and implanted. they explained it in the first season, but after the "octo" mom caught so much heat, that aspect was down played. they opening credits stated that they wanted one more, and ended up with 6. same as the "octo" mom…..more are implanted than they think will "take" to give the best chance.
perez really. Now, yes, Jon has been a douchebag for the past couple of months. But the season finale of Season 4–did you watch? He wanted to stop, but he was the pushover ("too passive") as he is saying now. Think bout it—TLC is making SO much money off of this. But who drug the paps to a party. Who's opeing his piehole to every show he can get booked on. He's spent more time denying all the allegations from the skanks he had a one night stand with than any time he's spent with his kids. Have you seen the photos when he has a visitation…him on the phone, him with the whore of the month on the lawn, him in the garage /whorehouse, him having someone else watch the kids while he rides the ATV …ALONE. I'm not on Kate's side or obviously Jon's side, I watched for the kids. If Kate had to get a 9-6 to support the kids, who would watch them then?? Jon didn;t do anything different than any other man getting divorced does. They all do what he did, have a million girlfriends etc., and it;s usually even more disgusting because most men who get divorced are in their 40s or 50s and they look even MORE stupid and ridiculous. Divorces ARE ugly and mean, so whyshould theirs be any different?
