GaGa Does SNL - With A Little Help From Madonna!

The one and only Madonna made a rare appearance on Saturday Night Live last night to appear in a skit with GaGa.
The Lady also killed it with a reworked version of her latest hit single, Paparazzi, as well as a medley of her songs - including Love Game, new single Bad Romance and a Manhattan-centric new take on her monster smash Poker Face.

Sorry, but these Gaga performances are NOT impressive! She has done better. Perhaps the fact that the Queen was watching was a bit too much for her. Real stars are able to perform under pressure. Gaga still needs to learn…

I'm in love with GaGa's performances! I never know what to expect and I don't cringe when she sings.
That first skit with The crypt Keeper sucked!!!! but I gotta give it to her for that satellite dress on the last clip. and the best thing about this post is: Perez didnt talk about himself or tried taking credit for it. Yay!
I thought that was the best performance I have seen on SNL since Pearl Jam stopped by their very first time in the early 90s. Im not a big Gaga fan but do respect her for what she has done and I was very impressed.
The Madonna skit though wasn't even funny…its interesting how Madonna loves to bandwagon jump when it suits her…kinda sad/weird and pathetic all at the same time.
is it just me or did gaga have a little nip done on her nose? her face looks different to me, prettier actually. anyways, i saw the skit live and thought it was quite silly. madonna was on an episode of will and grace once and made me laugh big time, she does have a comedic talents–but didn't seem like either of them really put in effort tp pull the skit off. in any case, gaga does have a nice singing voice, but i'm not a fan off all the custom stuff, too over the top…which is the point, i guess.

But if Ga Gag wants something to strive to she has picked the right one. It would be hard to match Madonnas dancing abilities. But the SNL performance was pretty dam good. Outstanding.
Oh and the masoginistic criticism of performers especially female because of their age….is tedious. Coming from a gay…..I guess the treat others the way you would like to be treated doesn't count for shit. Talent is talent and age has nothing to do with it. The age thing re Madonna is always made in the context of a criticism by Perez and others. Screening for something bad to say about someone that talented is really reflective of the person coming out with it. Look in the mirror people. You are likely to see someone kinda ugly inside and out.
I agree that Madonna is hotter and that the skit was stupid, but it's just seeing the two together, and the orbital costume (or atomic, whatever), it rocks. Is Madonna ready to pass her crown, though? No, she had great hits still in stock, hopefully. I have not yet listened to a Gaga song as much as I did many of Madonna. What I like of Lady Gaga are her outlooks (except the boring no-pants-ready-for-sex look, which is just promiscuous and very "sex-sells").

The skit was weak. Something obvious went wrong. Madonna looked hot. Gaga is nasty looking and a bad actress. As far as her performance goes, she needs to trim down all the stuff going on stage. Just sing lady. The rings, the bad dancing, the piano and the guitar. Ugh too much. She did have her moments at the piano but those damn rings got in her way….calm it down gaga. Even that MTV award performance was a train wreck.

I'm sorry but the skit with Madonna wasn't funny at all. As for the performances… They were okay. My thing with Lady Gaga is that she's so busy creating an image with those weird outfits that the music comes in second. I mean the girl has talent, she can kind of sing and she plays the piano, why does she need to rely on crazy outfits that clearly get in the way of her music? And her performances lack energy. I'm not Madonna's biggest fan but at least Madonna can entertain a crowd without putting on a Saturn-shaped outfit or whatever the hell that thing was.
