Smooth move, Jon Gosselin.
Jon apparently withdrew a massive amount of $$$$$$ (we're talking hundreds of thousands) from his and Kate's joint bank account this weekend, leaving his former wife with a meager $1,000 to survive on.
This being the same bank account Kate uses to pay the family bills with.
Smart.
Real smart.
Kate has apparently lawyered up, and the lawyers have sent Jon a letter demanding he return the family's hard-earned $$$$ immediately.
Kate's legal team will also be appearing in a Pennsylvania court room on Monday morning to receive a court order for the return of the cash.
Jon, we suggest you stop asking like a child and fork over the $$$$$ before it gets any messier!

I think this is a move by Jon to slow up the divorce as his demand did not work but if the courts are fighting over money, it may delay the divorce. Jon wants to stay married as long as he can to keep receiving INCOME that Kate has earned. What did Jon do with the money he earned posing for the new Jon Gosselin milkshake that guarantees it will give you a double chin and pot belly.

No way he would do this without the advice of his lawyer. There is more to the story. Perhaps it has something to do with the money that Kate has hidden from him. If he is as bad as the press have made him out to be, and as bad as his own wife has made him out to be, why hasn't she taken steps to protect the money?? Why is that much money still laying around in a joint account where he has access to it? Something's fishy here.

Or the fact that to withdraw hundreds of thousands it takes more than an ATM card, but a visit directly to the branch and Jon wasn't in the area? (And given paps following everywhere, there's not a single shot to back up he was ever at a bank…). And usually, when an account is in contest, the courts notify the bank to not allow such a large withdraw? Or that without someone telling Radar, given the current privacy laws, there'd be no way to know not only amounts, but what was left? God, some people will believe anything Kate pays to put out…

Copped from another site, but stated well: Why I don't believe this story. 1. Radaronline reports that Jon took $200,000 out of the $201,000 that was in the bank, leaving Kate only $1,000.
Okay, am I the only one that finds it strange that the account only had $201,000 in it? Shouldn't their be more money than that in the account. Kate has only put up $80,000 in a trust fund for her children, so where is the rest of the money?
2. Kate found out about the missing $200,000 after receiving overdraft notices.
A person does not receive overdraft notices, unless their account goes in the negative. $1,000 isn't a negative balance. - $1,000 would indicate a negative balance. So that means that the account wasn't in the negative.
3. Radaronline reported that Jon supposedly has taken the money, hours after he appeared on the Larry King show. Well, the show was filmed live and after bank hours. $200,000 can't be withdrawn from an ATM machine, so that means that Jon would have had to go in the bank Friday to withdraw that amount of money.
Well, lets see: How could Kate have received overdraft notices and hired Marty both on Friday 10-02-09? Today is only Sunday.
4. Radaronline showed Kate taking down Jon's sign yesterday and if I am not mistaken, they've ran a story stating that Kate and Jon agreed to talk.
If this truly happen, I don't believe that Kate would agree to talk to Jon.

So the big point being - how did Kate get "overdraft" notices (which are usually mailed, if not benefit of the doubt here, that she has something sent to a phone) with $1000 REMAINING. You don't get overdraft notices on POSITIVE BALANCES. $201,000 is an odd amount for sure. Either way, not only was Jon not able to get the money until Friday, which isn't "hours", but she received notices AND hired a lawyer all on the same day? The legal docs are dated 10/02, so not only was all this done, but the documents were sent before the close of the business day?
