Guns N' Roses Sued!

Somebody was actually listening to their album?!
Indie record labels Independiente and Domino Recording Company are both suing Guns N' Roses for copying parts of two songs for their album that nobody bought Chinese Democracy.
Both labels own the licensing rights to Schanuss' music and per the lawsuit, Axl Rose and his band used Schanuss' songs on their track "Riad N' the Bedouins." They're asking for $1 million in damages in the lawsuit filed on Friday.
Oh, Axl, how the mighty have fallen!

Chinese Democracy went platinum you dumb-ass. And with good reviews all around. Pretty good for an album with no promotion and no tour. Perez, you really should stop trying to comment on things you are clueless about. I guess that would really limit you though. But please stay away from commenting on real music. You know nothing about it.

Chinese Democracy was extremely well-received critically and considering it was released only via a big box retailer and not promoted at all with publicity or a proper tour - it sold pretty fucking well. Platinum sales and a 4-star review from Rolling Stone is still considered a success. As opposed to your fucktard act Sliimy the "media darling" (a.k.a. one blog review) and his "smash" record on your douchalicious label that sold 750 U.S. copies. Suck it Perez — you wouldn't know good music if it was giving you a filthy sanchez.

First of all, it's Schnauss, preferably Ulrich Schnauss, not Schanuss. Second, when you copy'n'paste news articles written by other people in other entertainment sites, please makes sure that the final cut actually makes sense. In other words, improve your copy&paste skills, oh dear Perez, or whoever creates this "articles" nowadays.
chinese democracy was VERY successful considering all predictions. do some research perez. guns n' roses WERE one of the most amazing rock bands of the past several decades, so give some credit. axl is still really talented, just a little nuts.

The fact that Chinese Democracy got a bad review from The New York Times does NOT mean it didn't sell well. I quote from a reliable source which gave it 5 stars out of 5 - "… amazingly, it all works: Instead of a bloated, indecisive, self-indulgent mess, Rose — whose corroded Joplinesque shriek is still capable of shattering glass, by the way — has created an audacious, over-the-top magnum opus that almost justifies all the years and money and mayhem and hype." I bought it on this recommendation and was not disappointed. Sadly, Pumpkinhead does not like or understand rock music and wonders why groups like G&R, U2, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Nickelback etc. have success when people could be listening to Sliimy.
Chinese Democracy is not Appetite… It’s not meant to be either. What it is, is the kind of album you need to listed to, in entirety, multiple times. On the third round or so, you then go “Oh, now I get it”. Axel didn’t write it for a singles based, one download & gone, ADHD modern market. It’s a full ride with walls of sound and cutting lyrics… Yea, I miss Slash’s drunken blues…but short of that, Chinese Democracy intoxicates in it’s own right.
And FYI, of ALL the reviews written about Chinese Democracy, there was no review less than a B. It is perhaps your taste that is the problem, as evidenced by so much of what you wear, and your inconsistent approach to 'gossip'
Axl is till the a solid musician. Personally I was a bit disappointed not only because of all the years of waiting and hype but also because I know Axl is capable of much more as a musician. Now for the good newsss… I was happy that Axl finally got all those expectations for the Chinese album of his back. It must have been a pressure cooker, now that it is out of the way I am very confident that we will be getting more music on a regular basis and it can only get better.
Axl is the King of all music. forever.
The Album went Platinum, who bought it it Walmart, Target to try and sell. Remember a couple years ago when the Eagles put out there new album, Walmart bought a ton of them making it a Double Platinum. Can anyone out there name a song from that Album?
