New Moon Spoilers!!!
Even if you read the book, these are some spoilers about the movie and how it is going to play out. So, if you don't want to know, stop reading.
The New Moon Illustrated Companion Book is due out tomorrow, but some sneaky Twi-Hards got their hands on an advanced copy and let some of the deets from the book loose early for your vampire-loving hearts.
First off, most of of you who read the books know that the movie will be adding more "visions" of Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, something that does not happen in the original story. In these“vision” sequences, Edward will wearing the same outfit he does when he leaves Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, in the woods because that is the last memory she has of him.
One very special visual effect that will be found in the movie is conveying the passage of time in which Bella is depressed. In the book, several chapters are simply the title of months, suggesting that nothing has changed while Bella is in turmoil. In the film the passage of time is represented with Bella sitting in her chair in her room while a camera circles around here and the seasons change outside her window. Also, during the beginning parts of the film K-Stew and R-Patz will be dressing alike, or rather, Bella's wardrobe is linked to Edwards as a sign of her commitment to him. Once he leaves, she doesn’t pay much attention to her appearance.
Finally, one scene not found in the book but added to the move is a scene in which Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner, gives Bella a dreamcatcher to send away her bad dreams. The prop is used to convey some heavy emotions in the movie. On the one had, Edward is annoyed that his rival gives such a personal gift to Bella, while Bella's father Charlie is saddened when it stops working after Edward disappears.
It all sounds very angsty and cheesy. Just what you Twi-Hards want right?!

Doesn't really surprise me. The movie will proably suck, the acting will probably suck, and the whole thing will probably make me want to puke. But it doesn't change the fact that this movie will ROCK because of a certain SHIRTLESS Taylor Lautner. Edward can go die, as long as qw have Jacob…..

The love story between an abusive boyfriend and a girl who is all too willing to go along? What are we trying to teach the teens of this generation? To rely on a male so greatly, that when he breaks up with her, it is okay to just put your life on pause and wither away? To get preggers and name it some crack-baby name? Sickening. Let's get some female empowerment in here.
If I am not mistaking, the dreamcatcher was in the book. He gave it to her as a sign of friendship and Edward didn't like it.
I am glad they changed it a bit from the books. They should DRASTICALLY change Breaking Dawn, too. It may be for the best. That "mental battle" bothers me. WTF?
I used to hate the whole Twilight Saga. But now I'm in love with it, after reading the books. I can understand why everyone else can't stand it. But I just hope that the second movie is going to be better than the first. Ugh, the first one blew hard.

The dreamcatcher is cheesy…but I still hold out some hope that this movie will be 500x better than Twilight was.
And the time passing being shown as the seasons changing outside her window…why is that so bad? They have to show it somehow.

Ugh. I hate twilight and it's stupid mormon message. Look it up. It's like a shittier version of C.S. Lewis' "Narnia" chronicles. But with mormonism instead of christianity.

The values promoted by these books set the women's rights movement back at least 30 years. It is not ok to teach little girls that their entire life and happiness is dependent on a boy.

But really she gets depressed because a guy leaves her, this movie is so stupidd.
and also Kristen Stewart can't act, lol, the scene where she stars yelling and screaming in the trailer is the sadded display of 'acting" I have ever seen.
Why must they make everything so dramatic in this movie…

I believe the wolf CHARM happens in Eclipse because he gives it to her as a wedding gift at the reception. But I do recall reading something about a dream catcher in one of the books, I just can't remember which book it was in.
I think this New Moon looks much better than Twilight. I am excited for it.

ok i read all the books twice and i loved them but the people who r doing theses movies i think a fricking them up first of all twilight was barly at all like the book and i think they're ging to screw up new moon too

The wolf charm on the bracelet was a graduation present in Eclipse. There was not a dream catcher in New Moon.
ok everyone hates twilight because they think it's stupid, and to be honest, it is really stupid on the surface. but if you read into it, its pretty good. and ROBERT PATTINSON is in it, the sexiest man on earth, the love of my life, so of course i have the script (signed by the cast), midnight tickets, i am possibly going to la from connecticut for the premiere, and i am ROBSESSED. i hate taylor, he's mildly attractive but he looks like a baby boy- robert is one real sexy man

I'm really trying to be sympathetic to this series (it's visually stunning and I'll take whatever Gothic romance I can take, however synthetic), but I have to say it comes off less as a girl dating a vampire and more like a girl dating a gay guy. That's probably just the movie, but that "Will you finally kiss me?" bit in that trailer screams gay boyfriend.

Re: Orator – i must have read the books at least 5 times start to finish and it definitely wasn't. In eclipse, he gives her a wooden wolf charm as a graduation gift, and edward gets annoyed that she doesn't like getting gifts from him, but will accept gifts from jake.

his absence. Jacob also give Bella a dreamcatcher as well(its brief but it happens.

As a native american I rly dont like the fact that the dreamcatcher fails to work. My dream catcher has never failed me nor any members of my family or extended family. I no its just a movie but not many people have respect for native americans,they never have.

I honestly have to agree with the people. About how they made Bella so selfish, and needy. First off the books are good. There are a few things that should have been changed. For Bella just up and want to leave her family at such a early age, to me just selfish. Also, all she thought about was what she wanted. Despite the fact she was putting her family and the Cullens in danger. Don't get me started on poor Jacob. People are right this book did push women back about 30 years. We do not act like that, well most of us don't. From what I got out of reading the books. It was all about what Bella and Edward wanted. Not thinking about how much it would hurt or effect there families. To be honest not everyone in the world gets everything they want. When teenagers read these books they are going to think, this how the world works. Sadly, it doesn't. These books maybe fiction. Even in fiction there is some reality to them, that makes some kind of sense. I wanted to watch the movie, New Moon. Now I don't, they are not going to make it like the book. Like Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter they did it by the book. I would rather stick with the books and skip the movies. I am not hating on anyone who wants to watch the movies. It is your personal choice. I am not paying for something that is not going to be right. I hope all of enjoy the movie. I am sure I will hear about it, LOL. Take Care.
