Though Jennifer Love Hewitt's old people hit Ghost Whisperer still finished first for the 8 P.M. slot last night, it was with a pathetic showing of only 7.63 million viewers with a 1.7 rating/6 share among adults 18-49.
That might sound rather decent to you, however, compared to last year, there is a considerable loss - almost 2 million viewers and 32% decrease in the demo.

New episodes of Ghost Whisperer don't come on until Fridays at 8pm on CBS … now ION plays the show in sydnacation… so if those are the ratings for the reruns… then thats great! Also, it's not only for "old people", I've been watching since the series premier which was in fall of 2005… I'm 18 now, that means I've been a huge fan since the age of 14 years old…. I don't think 14 is old, do you?

It just got bad after they killed Jim and brought on Jamie Kennedy. The whole hearing ghosts thing is really lame and Jamie Kennedy is annoying as hell. I used to love the show. I wish it was still good.
Last night I DVR'd "How I Met Your Mother" and "Accidently On Purpose" on CBS. To the best of my knowledge "Ghost Whisperer" airs on Friday at 8pm. Seems like anothe cluster fuck of a post. A day (several days) late and a dollar short yet again.

Its not Jennifer's acting because she's pretty good on the show but the storyline of the show. Ever since they revived her husband with some other dude but yet they used the same actor…yeah weird. What they need to do is start getting rid of those folks that can't put together a descent plot.

At one time I would occastionally watch the show. I'm not a big fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt but the show was usually light fare with a warm and fuzzy message and it was a nice time killer when there was nothing better to do than watch the tube. In the past couple seasons this show could be the personification of the term "jumping the shark." The stories with the dead husband and all that it involved was beyond ridiculous. That's too bad. A once good show I never missed - I watched it one last time to see how they'd handle the 5 year jump of the new kid this season - too weird for me now.
