Beyonce Speaks Out About Kanye

Well, we've been waiting to hear what Miz Beyonce has had to say about the whole Kanye West/ Taylor Swift debacle since it happened. She's the reason he lost his mind in the first place. Who told her to make the best video of all time!?
Actually, Beyonce was smart to keep her mouth quiet until the whole mess blew over. Now, she can play devil's advocate with no one staring daggers at her.
When asked about the infamous incident that will certainly go down in MTV history, Beyonce finally discussed her displeasure, but also her understanding of Kanye's actions.
She says:
"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award. And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!' But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment — and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech."
Well, at least one good thing came out of this!

Well, she just agreed with Kanye "…for the sake of art." Slammed Taylor right there. Just proves what I originally said when I saw her reaction-fake, fake and fake, just like her. She just loves to put on a show. She gave Taylor her spot because she had to; otherwise she would;ve looked so bad. But at least she's living out her dream, being a star and all. If she does have humility and charity, I have yet to genuinely see it through her actions which are soooo contrived. God Bless you Taylor. You won it fair and square. She doesn't sound diplomatic at all. It really didn't end up being a great night for Taylor and for many people actually since the rest of the night felt awkward and uncomfortable after that display. But i do agree with her that its a good thing that she didnt have to make a speech, because she is terrible at public speaking. She is not articulate at all.
Beyonce doesn't know how to speak properly. Like this, like that…. She needs to take speech lessons.
And it's was widely reported by many people backstage that it was Matthew Knowles who acted quick with the spin control and staged the part where Beyonce allowed Taylor to have her "moment". Otherwise she would have gone up there and accepted that award without a second thought to Taylor.

*FINALLY* someone else with an arts background realizes what a plagiarized piece of *#&$ that video was. My girlfriend is a dancer and the first time we saw the "Single Ladies" video she jumped out of her chair and yelled "what the HELL do they think they're doing to Bob Fosse's work?!"
I think it's great that Beyonce gave Taylor her moment. Kanye had no right taking it away from her and needs to learn his place. We know Beyonce is talented, but just because she didn't win this award doesn't mean he needs to steal the moment away from someone else. It just shows how disrespectful he is and I lost all respect for him.
'Art' has been around a very long time, and it's subjective, too (see Taylor Swift's video) so I don't feel 'art' needs Kanye to 'stand up for it.' It does very well all on its own. Lol.
Sadly, Kanye was right. Most people who are not white girls between the ages of 8-16 can't name a Taylor Swift song. Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' is all over the Internet and was named Rolling Stones' best single of year in 2008.
But then again, the only people who watches MTV are young girls between 8 and 16 and they're the ones voting.

Consequently, all us older parents know of Taylor because of our kids. Taylor also has so far, the best selling album of '09. I don't think its due to JUST white girls between the ages of 8-16.

So I think people are reading WAY too much into a written statement about what this woman said. Other celebrity blog sites show the video (it's on youtube) and she didn't come across as arrogant or bitchy. She came across as down-to-earth.

Honestly, when it happened…Why the F*** was Beyonce SMILING & trying to hold back a "baffled" laugh when Kayne went up there??? I thought that was effed up. Then her dad goes backstage to try to make it a positive publicity spin for her. She was obviously being super-fake. HOWEVER, it was the right thing to do for Taylor, and I did really like that. In fact I kinda teared up because I felt so bad for Taylor…she must have been mortified, poor thing. And she's an awesome artist..she rocks both pop & country billboards.
