Celeb Kids Doing Good
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith must be some proud parents.
Their two kids, 11-year-old Jaden, and 8-year-old daughter Willow have been named youth ambassadors of Hasbro's Project Zambi.
Project Zambi is "a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness of the estimated 15 million African children who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. "
And Willow and Jaden would like to do their part to help out.
The siblings even spoke out about the initiative and how important it is to them. Says Jaden:
"Willow and I joined Project Zambi to represent all the kids out there who want to make the world a better place. We want to encourage kids everywhere to lend a hand and join us in spreading the word about how much children who have been orphaned by AIDS in Africa need our help."
With Willow adding:
"Project Zambi is about kids and for kids, and it's so important that we all learn to take care of each other. Even from the other side of the world, kids in Africa will know they have friends who care about them."

The brother and sister duo have joined other celebs, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Scarlett Johansson, The Jonas Bros, and many others in autographing custom-designed elephant models which will be available via a celebrity charity auction.
We're glad the kids have taken such a role in helping out, but we need to ask, who the hell did the Photoshop for this press photo?

their parents had their publicists put out a press release. big fucking deal. who cares what these rich, entitled little brats do?
What a couple of great kids! THIS is how more celebrities should use their fame and money…for good causes and to help promote others to do good. It shows what great parents Will and Jada are. Wonderful charity!

This is typical Publicist bullshit. They get somebody trying to become famous and they tell them "Ok, now we need a cause or a charity we can put out press releases showing you "Doing Good"…..if these kids and their family were serious about doing good they wouldn't be putting out press releases about it, they would just be letting their behavior speak for itself. This is all about publicizing their kids and nothing about actually helping people.
They got some good looking kids. Good on the inside too.

They are soooooo cute, and its good that they're doing something that impacts others. Its really hard for people who have grown up with everything to care and do things for others, especially celebrity kids, and the fact that they're doing anything is really good.
And why are ppl calling them brats???!?! You don't freakin know how Will and Jada are raising them.
Jaden and Willow are two of the most precocious kids I've ever seen. I forsee big troubles ahead for them so I'm glad they're being MADE to do good… maybe they'll learn something about the world.

I'm glad these kids had an opportunity to use their celebrity to publicize a great cause. It hurts to know that kids are growing up without mothers and fathers. I hope this project succeeds.

I don't understand why people call celebrities "brats" or "assholes" or whatever when they do good deeds. When regular people like you and me do something good, of course it counts. But regular people don't have as much influence on the world. If you're famous, why NOT make it known that you're doing something good? You get other people to do it too. Not everyone, but definitely a larger amount of people than a regular person could get to join. I don't see the problem in using your fame for that kind of stuff. I'm not just talking about this. There are so many different articles about this type of stuff where celebs are called assholes or people say the whole thing's b.s. or that the celeb's just using it for their own fame.
