HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm saw their best ratings in 5 years after drawing in 1.6 million viewers for the fake Seinfeld "reunion." If you include the replay at 10 p.m., they had 2.6 million viewers for the whole night.
Pretty impressive.
The episode featured Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards playing themselves as Larry David plans a Seinfeld reunion show for NBC. You know, the whole "show-within-a-show" concept.

never understood why this show was so popular! george i wanted to punch cuz he was so petty and annoying, elaine was sto stuck up and thought she was something special, and jerry whined about everything!!!

i'm 21 and i feel like ppl my age are 50/50 when it comes to sienfeld. i think its very misunderstood. i personally LOVE it and yes i absolutely did watch them on curb. the appeal of the show was that it was literally about nothing. the characters were unique, flawed, immoral at times, and completely charming. i missed them!!
the whole "did U watch it" stuff is kinda dull. can't you ask another question? it's almost as if you're a kindergarten teacher

Curb your Enthusiasm is one of the best shows on tv. The plots are always original and very witty. Seinfeld "reunion" show was "pretty, pretty, pretty…pretty good."
BTW-I also love Larry!

Lovvvvvve Curb Your Enthusiasm (fan since inception). The Seinfeld reunion was good but Gerry was blah (he looked old). Richards also looked old. CYE is a fabulous show ~ never miss it.
My friends and I could not stop laughing–I loved it!!
You have to remember that this was not a "one night only" thing. Sunday night's episode (which was phenomenal, by the way) was the start of a Season-long story arc. Can't wait to see what Larry and the gang will deliver in the weeks to come!

Oh, I love me some Larry David! Everyone should check that show out, if you haven't seen it! It's great, regardless of the Seinfeld cast. And the show is basically all improv, which is pretty impressive!
Curb Your Enthusiasm is the best show on TV. Seinfeld is one of my favorite TV shows. However I didn't know about this. Now I want to see it. I've been to busy to watch the show. I'm going to have to wait for HBO to replay it. I'm definitely going to watch the reunion show.

I thought that it was pretty funny….my favorite part was when Michael Richards was so distracted by the naked art on the walls in the restuarant that he didn't absorb ANYTHING that Larry was telling him! genious!
Seinfeld is the best show that was ever on tv! Larry david's concept of a show within a show is totally brilliant. It is the perfect way for them to have a reunion and not look retarted like the rest of the reunion shows out there. It's classic Seinfeld at it's best. I will tune in every week.

Loved that whole series, and LOVED the Curb show the other night! All the 'in' jokes were hilarious…especially enjoyed the comment Jason Alexander made about how a reunion show "would make up for the finale". It was a bad finale..no question. They're forgiven though!
Yeah .. I was psyched waiting to see it and very disappointed when I watched it … I thought it was beyond bad … beyond it sucked … I thought it was an embarrassment … I felt really bad for them …. I loved Seinfeld and the whole crew .. I have all the episodes. I don't know … maybe it was supposed to suck and that's part of Larry Davids TV persona?
Larry David is a comical mastermind genius. Anybody who doesn't think "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is the best comedy show every made is a complete moron. This show is so much better than anything else on TV and delivered so perfectly. I LOVE LD.

I love 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' but the earlier shows were so much better. Nothing will beat the psychiatrist in a thong, Larry's problem with the pubic hair, etc etc etc.
The older Curbs rule. Larry David is a comedic genius.
I HATED this show when it was on air so I am glad that I didnt see this stupid reunion. All the characters were horribly annoying and never funny. It doesn't deserve the accolades that are currently ringing down around it. It was a horrible, horrible show.
