CBS seems to have money to throw around in our tough economic times because they are backing a new show for CNN's Nancy Grace that will be in the vein of Judge Judy.
A pilot was shot last week, tentatively titled Swift Justice With Nancy Grace, and the show could be seen on air as early as fall 2010.
The president over at CBS Television, thinks this move will be a huge success, since Nancy already has such a huge following: “The key to any great show is the personality. Nancy is a gigantic television personality, and people already trust her opinion.”
Not everyone! We certainly don't!

ha, here goes Perez talking shit about someone far more educated then he, far more adepth at criminal and social matters. Who has earned her reputation, income and career on results and hard work. Not like an ugly, fat, pug looking, douchebag that makes his career (which should be over shortly) by making fun of people (granted some who are fully deserving) their accomplishments, or scandals. I'm sure one day we'll get some "inside" dirt on Perez himself, which will make his tiny army of sheep jump ship. But then again he's never distinguished himself in any walk of life, never achieved anything on merit or talent.
So perhaps there is no dirt to speak of, since he dared not come out of mommy's basement till he somehow mustered a degree of fame for being an angry, dismissive and vindictive social parasite, hateful of anything that he cannot accomplish, which is surely a wide spectrum. i'd like to know why you don't trust her opinion. this lady may not have tact and may have a colorful personality, but the content on her show is bringing justice to those who break the law. She is child victim advocate and has dedicated her life to finding and reporting on missing or murdered children. what is so wrong with that. the people who commit these discusting crimes deserve much more than a tongue lashing from nancy grace. my gosh! what about caylee anthony. casey anthony will rot in hell for what she did to that little girl and god bless nancy grace for supporting justice to casey.

Ignorant comment regarding "stay at home moms" when clearly you are no mental giant. If moms choose to give their children their full attention during their young years, why do you call them dumb. Drawing lines in the sand to divide women is not productive. Women should be allowd to choose to say home or to work without being judged. It is just this kind of judgementalness that has put the women's movement back on the shelf instead of front and center. I do not think it is the "stay at home moms" that support people like her. You may not realize but many of us "stay at home moms are progressive, educated and know what the hell is going on in the world. I don't get where the hostility for us stay at home moms is coming from. I'm proud to be a mother and I work damn hard to be a good one. Yet, here is another stay at home mom with a college degree. Your ignorant comment about stay at home moms is classless and uncalled for. I have great, smart, well behaved kids. I credit that to staying home and sacrificing the large salary I could be making with my degree. Did your mom not stay home with you? Ok…I will admit I was a "stay at home mom" watching Nancy Grace, but it just seems like no matter what happens to other kids. She always applies it to her some how. ATTENTION HOG! If that happened to my twins…blah blah. I don't even know why she has speakers, because they can't get a word in at all.
The stay at home moms have degrees in law, chemistry, and math. And they have over a half dozen years each in executive level jobs, so, your comment about stay at home moms is kind of goofy and reinforces dangerous stereotypes - which plague many different groups of people, don't you think?

Nancy wouldn't let up on asking question about all the twisted details of Elizabeth's time in captivity, and Elizabeth finally told her in a very mannerly way to back off. You can find it on Youtube. Nancy is the best. Thanks to her, we are aware of all the child abuse, neglect and missing children all around the world instead of focusing on trash like Gaga and Madonna. Good Heavens. Is she to judge anything?!? If, as the pres. of CBS states, "The key to any great show is the personality," a comment which hardly lends itself to the keys to a decent judge, which would be more like someone capable of neutrality, objectivity, distanced unpartisaned judgement geared to honorable interpretation of the law. In my opinion only, Ms. Grace, although well intentioned, gets bees in her bonnet about a lot of things.
