The Gosselins Need To Stop Bickering And Pay Their Bills
This whole game of he-said/she-said is getting a bit tiresome.
Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin continue to publicly bicker about their divorce and the potential end of their her TLC show, Kate Plus 8.
The most recent drama deals with Kate accusing Jon of leaving her broke after he reportedly withdrew over $200,000 from a joint back account.
Jon fired back, saying Kate's been hiding several bank accounts with millions in it, especially the money from her book deals.
And, now, deed and mortgage documents have been leaked online and by the looks of it, the Gosselins might be raking in big money from their show, but they haven't paid off their homes yet.
The mortgage will now become part of their divorce settlement, but according to reports, they might also have a mortgage on their previous house as well!
Their 6,000 square-foot home and its 24 acres in Wernersville, PA, were purchased back in October of 2008 for $1.12 million. They currently owe $720,000 on the mortgage and their old house is still on the market for sale with a mortgage not yet paid off.
But with this whole money war going on about one stealing money and the other hiding it, who's gonna pay the mortgages before the bank takes the houses?

I hope those two lose every penny and they take the kids away and give to the grandparents. Neither one of them is ever home to take care of the the kids. Kate is always trying to get herself seen and heard on t.v. and Jon is having fun. Kate is not a good mom. The only time she is home is when they are filming. Other than that she is out with her bodyguard, or in another state fame-whoring. I actually think Spiedi would make better parents - it kills me to say that. If they bought a home that cost $1.2 mil 12 months ago and now owe $720 k on it, that's a pretty damn sizeable chunk of mortgage gone considering it takes years to pay down to capital. Kind of makes you wonder how much TLC paid for it doesn't it? The mortgage on the original house? Most of us commoners have to sell one before we buy one. The money Kate made writing books and doing book tours is money earned during the marriage and John is entitled to half. Kate couldn't of earned the money without John assistance with time to write the book or helping take care of the kids while she was gone on tours. I think the judge should order them both to get full-time jobs and try living like normal people.

Having worked in real estate all my life, mortgages like this are cery common. In today's market a 700k mortgage, your paymnets are quite low and very affordable for this family. If the other house is not sellable now because of the market, then rent it and it will help pay off most of the mortgage on that one. They can wait and put it up on the market again when things get better.
So he walked away with the cash. They need to straighten that out and things are not that bad fro them. If the show gets canvelled, it will be downhill for these two.
This divorce is now being run by Jon's new dirty attorney and he will find a way to take ALL of their money. Jon is so stupid. Now all Kate can do is play defense and her attorney will now take whatever is leftover. Same old game for nasty divorces and the attorneys love it. I feel for Kate because my ex did the same. The books are based on a show that she and Jon (His name is in the title for Christ Sake) did. While they were both married, AND after convincing Jon to quit his job to be on the show more, and here people are saying that this money is somehow not community property. There is NO demand for houses in the $1.2 million range as the PA real estate market is DOWN. Their previous house has been listed for NINE months and NO buyers. They just dropped it to 299k and no doubt will take less IF they get an offer. They paid 289k for it and did some upgrades They will lose money on that one. It would take the bank at least a year to take them. Banks do not want the house. They have plenty of time to get these paid off. The funds Jon took was from their LIQUID account. They have money saved for the kids. Kate just wants to live on the liquid funds which is WHAT THAT ACCOUNT WAS CREATED FOR. Kate would not be so upset if she was still making money from the show but JON STOPPED THAT TOO. It is a double hit in one week.

It's none of his business where she has the money from her book sales. It's HER money, she can do with it what she pleases. But that specific account was for paying off bills, food and clothes for the kids, as Kate has previously mentioned. Maybe, just maybe she's being a GOOD parent and saving that for their kids. Or maybe, she's just being a smart woman and saving it for when she's old and grey.
They should both be responsible for the bills and the children not the nanny!!
