Adrianne Curry Needs Therapy NOW!

This is rather unsettling.
Reality TV regular Adrianne Curry took to her Myspace blog to continue her crusade to make everyone a happier person through the legalization of marijuana. She truly does love the stuff!
In her rant, she attempts to reason that had illegal drugs been made legal, she may never had been raped. Do you see the logic in that?
Neither do we and we understand it less after she explains herself.
She writes:
"Explain 2 Me why Drugs SHOULDNT be LEGAL?
Seriously, I want you people who think drugs should be illegal to prove to me WHY they should be. Tell me, think it out nice and hard and back your argument with some FACTS!
The drug war is an EPIC FAIL. As a former 14 year old-20 year old drug addict, I was able to score every drug under the sun. However, because it was illegal, I had to go to shady places in order to score it…leading to me being brutally raped. Would I have been brutally raped at a controlled pharmacy providing me with clean drugs? NO! Would I have almost died from what I was TOLD was acid, but ended up giving me seizures on a crack house floor? Nope, cause I would have been given something regulated and clean from the pharmacy.
Would gangbangers and drug cartels have anything to wheel and deal and kill over? NO!
Do YOU really have the right to force your will onto others? Why should you, or anyone else for that matter, dictate to another human being what they can or cannot do to their own bodies?
You REALLY think MORE people will do drugs if they are legal? Probably LESS, seeing how it has been PROVEN that people tend to want to do things MORE when they are told they cant!
Wouldn't it be nice to drive through the ghetto and not see ONE crack dealer, cause they would be put out of business??
Do you REALLY think that keeping drugs illegal is WORKING? is it STOPPING people from using? NO! It's a waste of our tax dollars, is what it is!
The Drug War is a waste of time and tax dollars. Addicts should be able to find SAFE drugs to use, drugs that are not cut with dangerous things by dealers looking to make an extra dime. It should be regulated and distributed to those who want it. Sam rules for alcohol should apply…no public intoxication, no operating cars or machinery while fucked up, etc.
In a world full of pill popping drunk hypocrites, your arguments against drugs is borderline LAUGHABLE.
Why didn't I mention pot? Cause to me, it is laughable to list it anywhere NEAR heroin or crack. it kills LESS people than ASPRIN…that would be 0 deaths in its history
You guys hath been PWNED"
There are so many things WRONG with that entry that for us to start deciphering it now would take all day. The only thing not LAUGHABLE about this whole thing is that, despite the fact that we think her brain is filled with pencil shavings and wind, it's terrible the violent ordeal she had to go through in her early, formidable years.
But lets be very clear Curry - making drugs, especially hard drugs like heroin or acid, available in a pharmacy will in no way help the situation. We don't know what hath being "PWNED" means (we're going to assume that in her druggie haze she meant to write OWNED), but if it means keeping deadly drugs as far out of reach for people as possible, we're okay with that.

…actually, she needed it THEN. But now is as good a time as any.
Adrianne reading your blog was enough to convince me why drugs should be illegal
She's an idiot — If drugs were legalized the same people selling drugs now would look to something else that is illegal to sell. Big risks = big rewards. Those people don't care what they are selling as long as they are seeing big returns on their investments. And I hate to tell you this IDIOT ADRIENNE but the next thing for those people to sell will be GUNS. Would you rather walk down the street and see a crack dealer or a gun dealer? You are seriously a moron. What do you think selling drugs legally will make all the drug dealers in the world get an honest job? What a joke.
srsly, you don't know what PWNED means?
I think she's an idiot, but I've always believed drugs should be monitored, controlled and legalized.
crazy bitch
She makes little sense.
.
GET NAKED and keep your mouth shut (that's all anyone wants from her).
I think she's a point off normal, but I completely agree with her. MJ should be decriminalized. It's less harmful to your body than alcohol for cripes sakes!
Oh Perez….lighten up. Do you honestly think she'll get anything done legally? Please….she's harmless…she's married to Brady for God Sake! Go have another shot of pancake there mister….
first
ahahahhaha, you are such a dumbass Perez! With how much you claim to be "hip and happenin" you don't know what pwned is…wow. It's a popular term in gaming slang instead of being "owned" you're "pwned" because the p key is right next to the o key. Maybe you should just fade away into retirement since you don't seem to know shit.
who doesn't know what pwned is?
PWNED≠OWNED.
PWNED is gamer slang for OWNED
EX: wow you just pwned some noobs.
I do agree with her that the Drug War is an Epic Fail. If drugs were legalize you wouldn't have any drug cartels anymore and people wouldn't die due to the drug war. Just look at Colombia how many people die a year because of the cartels and now Mexico as well. Also let's not forget the drug war now going on between the U.S and Mexico border. There is million of dollars if not billions at this point to fight the drug cartels yet when one is caught another rises up. These people will never die and in the meantime they are making money off drugs. Legalize and all drug cartels are out of business period.
She's nuts, but I agree with her. Now go smoke your santorum Perezy
"PWNED" is owned moron, someone who blogs on the internet should know that.
she's right.
marijuana is only a gate way drug because you have to go to a drug dealer to get it.
there have been no deaths caused by marijuana.
She needs help. No more drugs for her.
i do believe that cannabis should be legal to get that "street drug" into a better and safer place to know what we are getting and the quality that we are getting. I am a patient that goes to cannabis clubs regularly and they are the best thing in the world. It helps me with the pain i have. But legalizing hard drugs HELL NO. it is a known fact that cannabis is less addicting that coke, crack, and all the other hard drugs out there. Legalize cannabis…."out of the shadows and into the light"-Harbor Side Health Center
fyi. pwnd is in fact, not a typo. it's a term used in the gaming world.
Oh Perez, you just got PWNED!
pwned is common internet slang for owned! pronounced "pawned".
Why is she allowed to have an opinion people should waste 5 seconds reading again?Ohhhh wait….Yea,no.Still can't think of one.
…does anyone know if her boobs are the same size still?
ANOTHER ONE THATS OUT IN AN EMPTY FIELD ALL BY HERSELF WITHOUT A DOG TO LEAD HER HOME.
yada yada yada..why not make everything legal..prostitution, prescription drug abuse, letting people kill. Oh yea, she's a smart one, kristen stewart too for wanting pot to be legalized.
Perez, drug policy reform is not your forte. Leave it to the grown-ups.
1. pwned
A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."
Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."
It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.
No one cares.
Who wrote this? Don't you realize that "formidable" means "intimidating" and not "formational stages of cognitive development". Please check "big words" with a Thesaurus in the future, thanks.
Perhaps if Ms. Curry didn't take any drugs in the first place none of that stuff would have happened to her. Just a thought.
i hate to agree with her but i do! the drug war thus far been the most expensive and useless war. i feel clean drugs would benefit our economy, and the addicts. addicts are addicts and will use if they want to reguardless if legal or illegal. it would help our eceonmy recover if we could have controlled legalized drugs we could tax them. i am a former drug user, i used for 17 years. i have to fihgt daily with meditation, meetings, therapy to stop the desire to use. if i wanted to use i could. i may not ahev safe contacts anymore but i could hit the streets. how sad is this people. WAKE UP!

OR
"That team totally pwned us."
Before you go saying that someone misspelled it in a drug induced haze, why don't you look up the word first. And I do agree with some of the things she put in her blog. If all drugs were legal, that doesn't mean every one would start doing them. I know I wouldn't.
You really should read a book once in a while Perez. There is a lot of legitimate academic thought that supports what she is saying.
she must have been on one when she wrote this… im down for weed being ok to the public…
but crack and herion…. what the fuck!
some get her to a mental hospital asap
she is blaming her rape on the fact that she had to go looking for drugs in bad places?…maybe if she would have stayed away from drugs in the first place, she wouldn't have been raped. This woman is not all there.
I can see legalizing weed (although I don't agree with it), but hard drugs? No fucking way. Alcohol is bad enough.
If your life is so bad that having an addiction to drugs seems ideal, you should probably seek help.
I bet $200 she was stoned while writing that
Here we go:
1) the "war on drugs" has most definitely FAILED.
2) marijuana should be legal.
3) in places such as England, junkies can get "safe drugs" from their chemists.
4) needle exchanges = good
5) about one of the comments concerning GUNS: Switzerland requires every male in a certain age bracket to have a semi-automatic weapon and not surprisingly, they have very little crime.
Done.
~
Calling Peter Brady…help your lady, take away her computer when she's high!
~
Strange that mr. pop culture doesn't know what "pwned" means.
Anyway.. I'm down with Adrianne.*
*that means I agree with her.
She's not the most articulate person out there, but she makes a lot of valid points. Just because you disagree with someone, it doesn't make them an idiot. Most of the crime involving drugs concern their illegal status, not it's affects on people. And it's silly to decide that all prescription drugs, tobacco, caffeine, and alcohol are okay while certain other drugs are not. They did such a good job at brainwashing us.
I agree with Adrienne. Take the money and crap drugs off the streets. Provide counselling to those that want to get off the drugs, but are afraid to get help due to being labelled a criminal and going to jail.
Actually…
I agree with her. We are not winning the war on drugs, rather, our government has long been hypocritical in the 'war on drugs'. Prohibition for Drugs! I like it…
This woman is complete cretin.
LEGALIZE MARIJUANA! I don't understand why such a powerful drug like alcohol is legal (when marijuana isn't) and even encouraged in this society. Marijuana is great alternative to relieve pain and reduce stress. Alcohol is BAD FOR YOU! Marijuana's only proven medical downfall is (if you are smoking it) a sore throat. This country makes no sense. Legalization and taxation of marijuana would eliminate millions of dollars our government spends on this so called "drug war". we'd actually make money and last time i checked this country could use some.
pwned is texting for owned. also I totally agree with her on this and I'm a middle age suburban housewife.
That has got to be the DUMBEST thing I have ever read.
I can understand the pro side of weed - however - everything else she was talking about was complete nonsense. Don want to be raped? Dont go to crack houses, idiot
Re: sab1989 – Moron, it's been proved again and again that MJ is NOT a gateway drug. It's actually more likely to try harder drugs going from alcohol.
Perez, it still amazes me what a fkin igorant moron you are. I see you waving bottles of vodka in various photos. What you obviously don't now is that alcohol is about as dangerous as benzodiazepines and amfetamine (don't believe me? look it up!) Plus, it's been proven that cannabidiol/cannabinoids help lower the effects or simply prevent various diseases and syndroms, one of them being schizophrenia and different grades of depression. Not to mention stimulating hunger in both chemo and AIDS patients, treat nausea and prevent vomiting etc. It also helps to lower the effect of rheumatism.
And still, after being used both medically, spiritually and culturally all over the world, it hasn't killed anyone yet.
So next time you feel the urge to wordvomit about weed, make sure you actually know what you're talking about.
I was speaking to a doctor from Puerto Rico who works with the CDC. He said that HIV and AIDS is already in the heroin supply because of the way it is manufactured for sale. Even if you use your own personal, clean needle, you're still at risk. Because the dealer uses his own contaminated needle to measure and mix the drug to sell.
Yes, drugs should be regulated, and made available for sale in appropriate establishments for taxation and maintenance.
After all…they DO legally sell Everclear in a lot of states. Why is Everclear legal and Marijuana illegal? You can die by accident from drinking Everclear. How many people have died by accident from smoking a joint?
She needs to quit hitting her six foot bong before she updates her blog. Jesus Christ, what an idiot.
hoooow do you now know what pwnd means? I assume you are often on the internet… I mean, come on.
I agree!! Legalize Weed NOW
what Christopher Knight was thinking when he married this mess - aside from her being a young 'hobag with a hot ass - is beyond me. talk about epic fail…
this is why its a good idea to keep liberals away from running the country.
you pwned yourself making fun of her pwn… CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!
I agree with her. The war on drugs is a collasal waste of time, money, and effort. The reason why these drugs were made illegal had nothing to do with the drug itself, nor the effect it had on people. They were made illegal to control immigrants. Marijuana was made illegal coz of Mexicans, cocaine coz of Blacks. Fast-forward 100 years and guess what? Those races are still here, as are the drugs that are "so terrible". The fact that the government thinks that it can tell me what to do with my own body is just terrible. Weren't we all raised with the idea of FREEDOM in America? Liberty, anyone? I don't particularly want to do hard drugs, but personal choice (as I'm an adult) is a RIGHT that we all have. I'm not gay, but I support gay rights… As soon as one civil liberty is removed, then they have precidence to remove anything they want. If people want their rights restored, they must be OK with ALL rights. You can't just pick and choose.
Wow, I can't believe I totally agree with her. If you don't, then you are probaly ones of the morons who think that since drugs are illegal, people won't use them. Alcohol and cigarettes kill thousands a day, and they are legal. Go figure.
I do know that we're all now dumber for having read it. But in her crazed ramblings, I agree with what she's saying.
PASS THE BONG PLEASE
uh…she wouldn't have been raped and almost died if she DIDN'T DO DRUGS.
Speak on it Adrianne!! Legalize it!!
I get her point. You're an idiot.
Sorry, but I agree in part - pot - OF COURSE - should be legal. No, I don't smoke pot, for some reason, I literally can't see when I do.
-
But how on earth is alcohol legal and pot isn't? Not to mention that money that could be made if legalized.
-
Other drugs? Jury still out on that one. And the war on drugs IS an Epic Failure.
….
Re: juls2655 –
your an idiot
brad pitt, cam diaz, and many other successful people smoke. its like a cig to me and has NEVER killed anyone. why isnt alch illegal then? ganj is not a drug and if you think otherwise, your an uneducated idiot
well, drugs were illegal when i was young too (and still are0 and I was not rapped….because I was not a drug addict!!!!!!! Ugh! Tell me drugs should be legal for other reasons not becasuse YOU were rapped because YOU were an addict!!! dumbass!!!! respect people that were rappped and were completely innocent (i.e: they were not in rapping central looking for drugs)
Omg Perez… she wrote it correctly. It's "Pwned"! You are so far under a rock…
On another note. Adrianne's an idiot of the highest order. Drugs in any form should not be something you'd wish to cater on to the world. What if we were all pot heads? Think about it.. and also hun you were not forced to walk into a bad part of town and try to get drugs. You did that on your own and have only you to blame for your actions. There are bad people out there and if you don't know that by now.. (p.s. I wouldn't let this lady anywhere NEAR my children).
Re: bash2 – Is that why crime skyrocketed after the end of the Alcohol Prohibition? Actually, the exact opposite happened.
What exactly are they going to do that has the incredibly high profit margins and near-infinite demand of drugs and requires no skill besides standing out by a street corner in a shady neighborhood?
Adrianne is right, some of the biggest harms done to drug users are caused by their illegality. Being given the wrong drug, impure drugs, drugs of varying potency (leading to accidental ODs), having to pay tons of money for drugs which are cheaper to make than food, being arrested for a victimless crime and potentially becoming a felon, put in danger by their inability to get drugs anywhere else and frankly, it's a risk people will take just because drugs exist and a risk that can be eliminated simply by legalizing them.
What people who support and continue to support the drug war blindly don't understand is that it costs society more monetarily and ruins lives far more often when it is illegal. Even worse, there are so many horror stories from the victims of the war on drugs that it would be difficult for anyone to ever accept their responsibility in destroying so many lives and hurting so many people through complicity that they may just live in denial until they are dead.
Read it again. She rambles, but unfortunately, I see the validity in some of her statements. Sorry.
-
I believe I read its impossible to OD on pot, correct? And when was the last time some guy smoked weed, and then beat his wife? Alcohol - which you can buy as much as you want at any given time, of course, can be lethal.
-
I'd rather smoke weed than take over prescribed anti depressants any day.
uh, if you don't know what "PWNED" means, then you sir, are the one who is the idiot.
you hath been pwned x2.
Re: juls2655 – thank you!!!!!!!!! LMFAO! she contradicts herself!
You've NEVER heard anyone say pwned? What internet rock do you live under.
She actually makes some very good points. The issue is that she doesn't present them in the best way. Her rape shouldn't even be mentioned if she wants people to take her argument seriously,
But in truth, if marijuana for example were made legal, it would be controlled, and much harder to access than it is now. When drugs are legalized, the control is taken out of the hands of illegal dealers. Remember prohibition?
Now, I'm not saying that coke and heroin should be available. But the government isnt winning anything with the way they are handling drugs in the US. Sometimes I think that's done on purpose to KEEP drugs on the streets.
Are you kidding about PWNED? Good god, and you're supposed to be well versed in current cultural trends and such. You're pathetic yet again. I'm not in a drug induced haze, and I know that she used it correctly.
Actually, this is a popular philosophical argument regarding the war on drugs. While you might not agee with it, you can probably agree that the war on drugs is very close to, if not actually, an epic fail and a global one at that.
Just read up on the USAID methods of dealing with foreign coca growth. In my opinion, as someone who does not do drugs, the money poured into the vortex that is the war on drugs could better be spent on accessible rehab centers and clean needle programs.
As it stands, you all are hemoraging funds in a way that has never worked. As you might know, the definition of insanity is doing what you have always done in the hopes of getting different results. I think she has a (very rambly) point.
you unhip, but wannabe so hip, fat blob of blubber, pwned is owned + 1. & i agree with everything she said. it makes no sense whatsoever to prohibit controlled substances. prohibition didn't work with alcohol, & it isn't working with drugs. it is proven that in the netherlands, the people abusing their policies are mostly americans or tourists. dutch people aren't so inclined to abuse drugs, because they haven't be told they can't.
You make your living on the internet, and you are unfamiliar with PWNED?!
You're a fucking idiot.
And so is she, but she's also correct on quite a few points.
Pot should be legal. It's less dangerous than alcohol, ffs, and that's legal.
Hard drugs should be decriminalized and monitored and controlled. It'll never happen, but it should. She's not the type of person to be making that argument, though. She'll only hurt her own cause.
Is she a dip shit or what???
Weed is one thing.. but Heroin? Crack? What the Eff??? Heck no… That stuff needs to stay illegal.. It's one thing to be a natural plant and a whole other thing to be totally manufactured. It's gross…
Re: juls2655 – "uh…she wouldn't have been raped and almost died if she DIDN'T DO DRUGS. "
As long as drugs exist people WILL do them. So who is more responsible for these sorts of consequences? The people who use these drugs when the drugs themselves do not carry consequences of "side effect: you'll be raped" or people who won't make them legal and get rid of the majority of the worst consequences of drugs existing?
DEAR PEREZ….
1. pwned
A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."

"Man, I rock at my job, but I still got a bad evaluation. I was pwned."
OR
"That team totally pwned us."
I don't totally agree with her. I think MJ should be legalized because I feel that it is less harmful then alchohol and can help ease pain for people who are suffering. I don't agree about the hard stuff. Prescription drugs kill just as easily as illegal drugs despite where you get them. The heavy drugs should be difficult to find. If your too stupid not to realize that going to the slums to feed you drug addiction is dangerous, then you deserve to have what happens to you for breaking the law and feeding the lifestyles of these drug dealers (that ultimately destroy many other peoples lives). Adrianne, I'm sorry that you were assulted during you drug addited days but you really need to take responsability for your own actions while you were a teenager. Illegal or not, you chose to use hard drugs and get addicted to them. No one placed a gun to your head and forced them down your throat. Also, I'm quite certain that Adrianne knew that the hard drugs that she chose to consume and become addicted to were dangerous to begin with, hence the appeal. Stop pointing the blame. Blame yourself.
I feel dumber having read that entry. She might be the stupidest person on earth and should probably have rotted in the ghetto where she belongs with crack all around her.
Sorry, but I have to agree with her! She does make a lot of sense…I have been in many of the positions before that she is describing, and it is true what she says. But weed does lead to worse drugs, so my suggestion is for people that are prown to addiction to stay away from that too.
They do need to legalize pot and then tax the shit out of it. Prostitution as well. We Americans love our vices, why shouldn't the country profit off of it? If we have men and women licensed as 'companions' - they'd get health care, have mandatory check up, pay taxes … why not legalize it? Pot, well it's just pot. Straight pot w/no additives should be legal to over 21, just like alcohol is.
Heroin is available in drug stores. It's called "Oxycontin" and "Oxycodone".
Same for morphine under different names.
Also, Idiot, "Pwned" is an actual term.
Seriously? U don't know what "Pwned" means? Whoever wrote that post, Perez, his sister, a dog, whatever…. ur just a n00b
weed to be legal…yes. Hard drugs to be legal….no.
She's a fucking idiot. I agree marijuana should be legalized, but not hard drugs. Blaming her being raped on drugs' being illegal is one of the most asinine statements I've ever heard and it is thoroughly fitting that came from her.
UM..DUMB ASS,IF YOU WERE BRUTALLY RAPED WHILE SCORING SOME DOPE IN A SHADY PLACE,THAT RIGHT THERE SHOULD PROVE TO YOU THAT DRUGS SUCK…DUMB ASS. HAD YOU NOT BEEN TRYING TO SCORE SOME DOPE,YOU WOULDNT HAVE BEEN BRUTALLY RAPED..PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER NEXT TIME YR NOT STONED..UM..K?
Sorry, but she made some very valid points. The drug war is/has been a failure. Like prohibition, if people want something bad enough they will get it.
Also, the revenue that would be generated if marijuana was LEGAL and taxed would help this country with its horrible deficit. Time to move on.
If she hadn't been out trying to buy drugs she wouldn't have gotten raped. That's what boyfriends & husbands are for. LOL
Legalize it!!!
she is TOTALLY right.
Seriously you are a complete retard putting LSD (which is AKA acid which I'd be surprised if you even knew) and Heroin in the came category. As if LSD is even a hard drug, please. Though Marijuana, LSD, and Mushrooms should be legal. Heroin, Coke, and Crack should not be. Perez do a little bit more research before making such outlandish assumptions!!!
Girl is crazy ! Her whole argument for this has to do with her rape - well let me say that I was raped and it had nothing to do with drugs . I wonder if she was smoking something when she wrote this !
I have to agree with the crazy bitch. The War on Drugs IS an epic failure & it's time to admit their defeat.
I don't know about making heroin & crack available in pharmacies.. but Marijuana, absolutely!
Perez, i almost always agree with you, but on this one.. i think you're wrong! Ms. Curry makes a lot of valid points. A good example of legalizing drugs while lowering user rates is Portugal. They have had WONDERFUL results and are really showing that this idea is not crackpot. Furthermore, since California has allowed people to legally grow the herb, the competing mexican drug cartell has lost a lot of steam and profits. Wouldn't it be great if we taxed drugs, gave more people jobs, and got rid of senseless brutallity because of drug lords? I think you're wayyyyyy in the wrong here. Just because you don't like drugs/do them it doesn't mean making them illegal will harbor these feelings in people using them!
How awesome would it be for Perez to go out and do some research and actually support the legalization of Marijuana. He thinks people shouldn't be judged for their sexual orientation but is ok with people being jailed and sent to prison for enjoying pot in their own homes. Please…
