We were not really feeling the whole "pop rock" thing Ashley Tisdale came out with for the first single off her sophomore album. That's just not her!
Thankfully, though, for her second single The Tiz is back and she's doing pure dance pop, where she belongs.
Crank It Up is a total Britney Spears rip-off, and we mean that as a big compliment!
The song just gets better and better with each listen! And the video is definitely sexier than anything Ashley has done in the past.

Um, she looks like a total WHORE. The club scene is okay, ’cause usually everyone is whorin' around in a club, but the whole video was just her trying to be seductive.
And in response of everyone calling her a whore/hoe/slut/etc, I wouldn't call her that (and how can you compare her to Heidi!? I don't think she has talent, but she's not terrible. Heidi is.. a whole other story). She carries herself with class; this is just a video. I agree that one does not have to try to "sell sex" to get somewhere, but this doesn't reflect who she is. Also, she's older (24 everyone is saying?) so you can't be /as/ harsh, as to, let's say, Miley Cyrus doing it.
I don't know, I think its wrong for me to think its okay for Ashley to be doing this but not Miley, but I can't name exactly /what/. Besides the age thing I mean.
And I thought she had her head on straight… spoke too soon… Disney is an evil, evil corporation. Another one to add to the list of Disney whores…
