He's SO cute!
Jennifer Hudson gave birth to lil' David in August and she is crazy about motherhood.
"I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy," said Jennifer. "Who better to devote my time to than my own child?"
And he's definitely a lively one!
"He has a lot of personality, like David," she continued. "His favorite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like he thinks it’s the funniest thing. And his bottle is his pacifier. With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle; that’s all he wants."
But, we bet he gets sung some killer lullabies!

That baby looks white since his father is half white, in case you didn't know.
Gertrude, A lot of black babies are light in color when they are born and gradually get darker. In this case the father has a fair complexion and he may take after him.

We will just assume that U live around WHITE PEOPLE ONLY and have never seen a light skinned black person. We will just say that instead of calling you out of your name by that comment.
Baby David is that color for the same reason that Rashida Jones is the color she is. People assume that she is white, but she is half black. Just like Wentworth Miller, Nicole Ritchie and Cash Warren.
Black people come in all shades thanks to all the mixing that has and is going on since black people stepped foot on this soil got here.
His dad is of mixed race and Jennifer is not that dark skinned.

It is unfortunate that black babies are born with THAT color skin. It just takes them that much longer to get that beautiful silky chocolate color they were meant to be.
And it's really sad that people are looking at this lil prince's skin color. Who gives a fuck what color he is.

Is she married? I'm sick of single mothers bringing children into the world without benefit of marriage. At least this one is rich enough that we won't have to pay for their medicaid, school lunches and breakfasts, rent, utilities and whatever else they can steal from the hard working taxpayers.
PS: a word to the haters. This is a BABY we are talking about, here. How can anyone digress to discuss his colouring or his parentage? He's just an innocent beautiful baby boy. One can only hope by the time he's grown we will have finally progressed beyond judging the colour of one's skin and/or the marital status of one's parents as a marker of one's worth, beauty, integrity, or value. Let him grow in a society where he knows love from his parents, regardless, and the colour of his skin is just that; the colour of his skin.
i love everyones funny reasoning to why the baby is so light skinned..yes it may have to do with the fact that the father is light skinned but no its not because he has yet to be introduced to the sun and in the womb its dark. The reason black and other dark skinned babies start of so light is because of melanin what gives humans there pigment. Melanin increases its production within the first year, and thats why some babies eyes are blue at birth and then darken to brown and also why light skinned babies get darker.

Let me get some of you straight about breastfeeding! I am a new mother of a 3 week old baby and I was going to breastfeed but due to my blood pressure being high and the medication I am taking, I cannot pass that to the baby. Its not because everyone is lazy. Some women may have medical conditions that might may cause them not to breastfeed. Or maybe she is using a breast pump and putting it in a bottle for all we know.

The baby looks white because his father has lighter skin, also children that are black are born white, it takes time for the pigment in their skin to come out. I have a child that is both half black and white, and his is 5 and just recently started to get darker again. Most celebrities expose their children first to stop people from hounding them on the street for the first baby picture, and the usually use the money they get to give to charity!

I'm sure that the people that have the audacity to bitch because she's not breastfeeding are either male or a woman who has never had a baby herself. Breastfeeding is NOT an automatic thing you know. Some people simply do not produce enough milk, some are taking medication that would harm the baby. So before you start judging why she's not breast feeding maybe you should get your facts straight.

The baby is adorable.But I fear ther is no breast feeding because she's cold as ice. Hopefully she will be able to love him the way she should inspite of her lack of soul.
Re: LusciousLiz – Liz I am with you on the breast feed. She could be on medicine. Remember her entire family was killed. Now that takes a strong person to overcome those odds. She may be on medicines and you cannot breatfeed a child if you are taking certain drugs. Breast feeding is best
all you do is hold your baby and you don't have sterlize everything and or heat the milk up. I'm sure this is the reason she is not breast feeding. But, with the hell she has been through at this stage she probably could care less what people thought. Give her a break! Hi Liz!

He is really cute too. So red and cubby just the way I like them. I love cubby babies.
