      I'm not a big Shakira fan although I like some of her songs. Yet, I must say I cannot fully understand her, just like in the last song you posted, Perez. I think she might be trying too hard. Her originality is what makes her, her and why she's always had my respect as an artist. She's sounding too commercial and NO, I don't like this at all.

      Shakira has been around for more than 15 years, and surprisingly for you idiots who cant speak spanish and only know the song "Hips Don't Lie", Shakira is one of the best songwriters EVER!

      All her previous work is amazing, from the first song "Pies Descalzos" to a more mainstream "Loba"

      She might not sing like your usual Mariah Carey or some shit, bit she is unique and writes some fucking powerful stuff.

She has been around for so long and wrote her fist song when she was only 8.
