But this time, he is keeping his wand in his pants.
Daniel Radcliffe will be performing the lead role of an upcoming reading of the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Who knew Harry Potter could sing?!
Daniel is the only cast member in place as of now and producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are hoping the test drive reading of the project will find the potential for a Rialto revival on Broadway.
Daniel has big shoes to fill. His predecessors in the role include Robert Morse and Matthew Broderick, both Tony award winners.

Note to hollywood, putting red shadows on pale men does not make them look energetic and engaging, it makes them look like tired heroine addicts. It didn't work with Macaully Culkin and it sure doesn't work with Radcliff.

One of my favorite movies of all time. If you haven't seen it, you should try to find a copy. Letterbox preferable to the formatted version of course. The sets/dance numbers/truly a wonderful production. Fan of ‘Harry Potter films that I am, it’s exciting to see Radcliff poised for a bright future in film/stage/whatever. I guess you could say I’ve become a big fan of his? I would have to agree…

He has been studying singing for some time just for an opportunity like this. I don't think he is certain yet. This is just a "reading" and somebody else might do better. I'd like to see him do it. He was VERY funny in Extras. He is the right age. He still has a kind of sly charm that the role needs.

I'd say slowly mentor this young man to be one of the finest actors of his time. Broadway is amazing……. Good Producers would see how this young man could bring the Stephen Miller classics to the newer audiences. I CAN!! But, in the meantime…. I would suggest that Daniel Radcliffe would be perfectly!!! suited to being cast as the "young lover" in Alice Munro's incredible story SEVENTH HEAVEN. I cry when I realize that so many people the world over don't even KNOW who Alice Munro is, never mind having been able to understand the 'door' that reading Seventh Heaven opens for many tired and lonely minds….. If I met Zadan and Meron I would tell them all about this….
