Jon And Kate Plus A Touch Of Civility
Once again Kate Gosselin proves that she is the bigger person in this mayhem called Gosselin fever.
While her soon to be ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, has done nothing but steal her money, embarrass her in her own front yard, and traipse around with a woman who likes to smoke weed and fall down, Kate found a way to be civil yesterday during their eldest children's birthday party.
Jon had insisted to the paps that Kate would be starting "WWIII" with him when he arrived at their twin's birthday party yesterday. However, she found the will to endure him and allowed him to stay until the kid's bedtime. Jon took time out to run over to the bunches of paps hanging out in front of their house waiting for the war to tell them the news:
"We're trying to be cordial for Mady and Cara."
Some huge kudos have to be given to Kate on this one. We know we couldn't endure ten minutes with this blowhard, much less a whole evening.
But its all for the kids, right?

Jon sold the party and only read part of her e mail to the press in which she said stay two hours then take some of my time over the weekend. Even when she is being as nice as she can be, he misrepresents her. She is doing her best. Jon on the other hand didn't bother to change his clothing after a night of Hailey and boozing. Even Mady told him , "I don't like your outfit". Hilarious, he gave Mady a computer so now she can google the jerk.
of course her lawyers could have told her to watch it lest she be accused of causing parental alienation in addition to violating the terms of their custody agreement

I am the least drama queen around. But even I would never have been able to spend an evening with that awful person known as Jon Gosselin. I don't care how much they get on your nerves — that was a very hard thing to do. The pain she must have endured. I'm sorry but I feel for her. Being a wife and a mom it's hard to keep things in " for the sake of the kids" and hers goes beyond the normal "disagreements" you have with your spouse. My favorite part of the whole thing is how he told the media to come "for a fee" (because cameras are bad for the kids, right?) and when the paps bought him a cake for his daughters (yep, the douche couldn't even be bothered to get a cake for them on his own.. he had to have the media do it for him) they misspelled mady's name and he didn't seem to notice. AWESOME DAD!!
And let's not forget that he gave cara an ATV.. Who gives an ATV to a 9 year old?!

They're both media whores. He goes out to the paps when he's visiting on his daughters' birthdays, and she has them play out on the driveway in front of the house so the paps can watch them–all summer long. Cara's a smart girl, and I bet she hacks through the parental controls and can see how disgusting her parents are acting. That will probably confirm what her friends at school are already telling her. Lucky kids.
