Making her character a college-experimenting lesbian was super lame. She'd been into boys the whole time. This was a desperate - not to mention passé- ratings grab. And they couldn't even find someone attractive for her to kiss. When you're going for the erection-giving teen lesbian thing, attractiveness is kind of key.
