Sure he has billions of $$$ and FABULOUS hair, but Donald Trump has no tolerance for tardiness and he is vindictive when you are.
Ivanka Trump, his business mogul daughter, writes in her upcoming book that this was a huge issue for her dad and his ex-wife Marla Maples. She recalls:
“Once, when he was married to Marla Maples, we were waiting and waiting at the airport to take off on his private plane for Palm Beach. Marla was always late; it was a big point of contention between them. My father had just about given up on Marla making it to the plane by our scheduled takeoff time and we were getting ready to roll down the runway when I saw Marla’s car pull up alongside When he saw Marla all he did was throw up his hands. He didn’t tell the pilot to stop, and we took off anyway. I said, ‘Come on Dad, she’s just five minutes late.’ I knew he’d turn punctuality into an art form, but this seemed a bit excessive, even for him. He said, ‘No, Ivanka. You have to be on time’.”
Yikes! Seems a little harsh for five minutes. But when you are Donald Trump, you can pretty much do whatever you want - even treat your wife like crap! Stoopid!

Its an extreme, but he's right in context. People are always late. I allow 10 minutes tardiness if comuting through L.A. traffic is involved. Otherwise, on to the next appointment.

Also, some people have a bad sense of time and are either always too late or always too early. There is no disrespect invovled. More like a really bad case of time management. I can't stand people who are too early. I once became upset at my cleaning lady b/c she was too early and she said "Well, I have a lot to do today so I thought I'd come early" Excuse me? That's rude…only thinking of herself. She woke me up and everything.

I can't see why waiting 5 minutes is an issue. men have been complaining about women being late since the beginning of time. If being 5 minutes late is such an unbearable problem that over shadows all of the good qualities in a person, then fuck, marry a teacher.

There's a lot more involved with stopping a plane than just pulling over and opening a door. Donald was right to leave her. Planes, even private, MUST leave whn scheduled as it affects everyone else on the tarmac AND sky. If they had stopped for her they most likely would have had to of waited several more hours for another window to take off.
She was ANNOYING and her habitual lateness was intolerable. Donald = 1, Marla = 0.
I can't stand Donald Trump, but I will have to agree, I have a LOW tolerance for tardiness. I think it's rude. People should be very considerate.
