GaGa Imagines Equality For All!

Lady GaGa performed at HRC's big dinner on Saturday night before the National Equality March in D.C. on Sunday.

She took to the stage to give a speech about the importance of treating everyone the same - legally - and she also performed her own version of John Lennon's legendary Imagine.

Check it out (above)!

there are some tone deaf people here. That was so off key it's not even funny.

    4. 204

      that cover was awful.

    5. 205

That was a hideous performance. John Lennon must be spinning like a lathe in his grave.

    6. 206

      its really good :D

Re: Mickey9661 – It's called having a pact with Satan…..you know…..same way Perez got famous!

I understand the sentiment behind the song and I applaud her for standing up for what she believes in, but I wonder if she understands the true meaning behind the song… I am curious to know what the gay community and atheism has in common. "Imagine" is about what the world would be like without religion, so I'm not sure the connection.

Still a good singing of the song and again, I applaud her for doing this!

Re: stellagranos – IT IS NOT OF GOD PERIOD! IT IS INHUMANE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE SAME SEX

I agree that Lady Gaga is not the prettiest thing to look at..
      In fact…yeah she's fugly.
But she is actually a pretty talented singer, and piano player.
I don't really like how she writes, lyric wise, but she is terrible.
Good for her for being an egalitarian.

Brought me to tears. People are so fucking judgemental; they assume so much about her as a person by how she chooses to dress and act as a PERFORMER. Nobody ever lets people BE THEMSELVES anymore, it's all about calling them 'poseurs' or saying that they're 'trying to be original.' I say, shut the fuck up and let people live their damn lives.

      Well done, GaGa.

She is amazingg and did a wonderful job!

    15. 215

One word: Beautiful! I hope Yoko approves.

    16. 216

      GaGa is fucking amazballs.

    17. 217

Did you hear what Obama said about Lady Gaga?

    18. 218

Wow, it's like watching a high school kid in a wig playing at the bar in the local Holiday Inn following a really pompous and monotonal lecture by a self-important teaching assistant! Cool!

    19. 219

That was beautiful. I love how she changed the lyrics to 'Matthew in the sky'
It's nice to see that she's serious about this, and standing up for it. She really is a gay icon :)

How come madonna never did something like this?

    20. 220

Oh and when Yoko Ono approves of this, you know she did good.
