When will the remake craze end?????

CBS is reviving the 70's cop drama, Hawaii Five-O!

Star Trek and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are behind the new Five-O, alongside CSI: New York producer Peter Lenkov.

Like the original, the new Hawaii Five-O will be filmed entirely in its namesake, Hawaii.

Will U watch???

  2. 2

so NOTHING on Stephen Gately then..?

  3. 3

    NO!!! LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!

  4. 4

Hawai five-0 sounds like a scifi movie or something

  5. 5

I'll start watching if it gets to a second season. There is no sense watching any new program these days since the networks all too often pull the plug on shows just after you get into them (or even before they have a chance to be successful.) Until broadcasters do better, fuck them.

My Perezcious would like to audition for the part of Wo Fat.

  7. 7

but all your posts are remakes of news we've seen elsewhere. like from entertainment weekly which i notice you have been cribbing from daily lately

OMG love the idea–rented the show recently and it was good then & would be now. Oh, Steve Mc G meets Dog the Bounty Hunter–Steve in his suit and coif and Dog in his vest & mullet–riceless. The better have some damn good talent to pull this off, and I do want to see the detectives in suits–very professional. This time their cars will have air conditioning, ah…like Miami Vice and don't forget the guy candy!

I used to sneak down the hall to watch Hawaii Five-O when I was too young to stay up.
I even wrote lyrics to the opening song.
I'll watch the first few shows just for Dan-o.
and hope it's good enough to last, for at least a while

  10. 10

I think most of your fans don't even know the show Hawaii Five-0 existed…..they are too young.

  11. 11

Hells yeah, any show in Hawaii is a hit with me. Next Magnum P.I.

  12. 12

Do you think the term Monster is too harsh when talking about the brain dead suits in the entertainment industry? Let our only consolation be that this remake will FAIL as they all do.

  13. 13

    I quit. I just do.

  14. 14

The show made its debut in 1968.

  15. 15

    its gonna be shitacular.

  16. 16

    gg will be watching!

  17. 17

I've never even seen the original, but my hopes are so far from up. Why can't these morons make something idk, new maybe? Would that be so hard?

  18. 18

maybe, but that is only because I live in Hawaii.

  19. Lava says – reply to this

    19

No. I don't Understand why the networks can't come up with new ideas. There cannot be another Hawaii Five O. Leave it alone!

  20. 20

I'll watch, but they need to do it right, They must show the islands and use locals. If they just do a "CSI Hawaii" type of show where all they show is a high tech 5-0 headquarters with computer screens with shitty background music, the show will fail. So many shows have tried and failed on Oahu since the original 5-0. A good cast, good writing and scenes on location, not set in an office, will make the show work. They should hire some of the old Magnum PI crew back as they did the islands justice.

  21. 21

Will U watch??? I would if you fucking killed yourself on the pilot! So how's your fake lawsuit going with the Peas? They'll meet you in Hawaii and take you and sis on a friendly surfing expedition. THAT I'll watch.

  22. 22

Are they to stay only on Oahu again or will the come overt to the other islands?
One island does not make the state!
