Tenth cousins once removed that is!

The New England Genealogical Society has revealed that the two Hollywood pals from Boston, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, are descendants of William Knowlton, Jr., a bricklayer from England who settled in the US in the 1630s.

Affleck is also distantly related to President Barack Obama and the late Princess Diana!

Presidential and royal blood? Not too shabby, Ben!

      everyone is related to each other, if you dig deep enough… and there're lots of decendants of 'royal blood', since there were lots of them and since they had lots of unlegal children (probably half the time didnt even know when they did make a child, with some maid or something… ok i'm stopping now :P lol)

So his brilliant mom (she had a PhD) raised him, only for Obama to refer to himself as black and write an ode to his father who abandoned him. I like Obama but I find that sad and inappropriate on his part. Apparently Obama did say that he wrote the ode to his father who abandoned him when his mom's cancer was in remission and had he known that she would eventually succomb to the disease he would have written the book about her. However, why it has anything to do with cancer I have no idea. His white mom is responsible for the man that Barack Obama is. He doesn't have any Presidential or royal blood in him; rather, he and Obama and Diana share common ancestors (Diana had several American ancestors) in the 17th and 18th Centuries, none of whom were Presidents or royalty.
